[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 46447] Embedded Pictures disappear from Presentation (ODP) [Summary: comment#58, comment#67. Temporary advise: comment#69]
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46447 --- Comment #154 from Brad Richards b...@kri.ch --- I have seen this bug off-and-on for years, going way back into OpenOffice days. However, I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (with LibreOffice 4.2.6.3), and the subjective frequency of this problem is *much* higher than before. Just yesterday I had this problem occur at least a dozen times in the course of the day. For what it may be worth: I primarily insert images by taking a screenshot, editing it in GiMP, copying a region from GiMP, and then pasting this into Impress. One of the developers commented above that this problem seems to be triggered from various places, and they are hunting these places down. May I just note: When a problem is so recalcitrant that it cannot be fixed over the course of several years, then something is fundamentally broken. Please consider throwing away the existing image-handling code and re-designing it from scratch. As others have pointed out, this is a idisastrous/i error. This flaw alone has cost users uncounted thousands of hours of lost work. This flaw alone is reason for companies to avoid adopting LibreOffice. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 83836] FILESAVE: Corrupted content.xml after saving a ODS spreadsheet
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=83836 --- Comment #11 from Jan Rathmann janrathm...@t-online.de --- Today I have been bitten by the bug again, while working on the same file. This time there was only one occurence of duplicate attributes, namely: style:text-properties fo:color=#00 fo:color=#ff/ in 2,16701 (row, col). The tag seems to relate to a field in the spreadsheet that has some text with color set to red and some other with color set to black. So I tried to change text color in random field, copied text between fields etc. to find a way to reproduce the steps one needs to make in Calc to trigger the bug, but unfortunately I had no success so far - all other files that were created after that were fine. I'll attach my modfied spreadsheet again, the faulty version and the manually fixed one. AFAICS if someone enters 'foo' in the entry instead of 'foo' - we should warn them and/or (better) auto-correct their input to 'foo' instead of 'foo' =) I imagine that there is some over-complicated thing going on here - perhaps some ability to use defined names or abstract formulae or ... [ no idea ]. But for simple string cases we should definitely improve; fixing the help as per bug#42282 is only a partial solution. sc/source/ui/condformat/condformatdlg.cxx has the code for the conditional formatting dialog. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 84628] gbuild: emit project configuration for Eclipse CDT
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84628 --- Comment #1 from DavidO d.ostrov...@gmx.de --- It seems that Eclipse has restriction of having multiple projects in the same directory as Eclipse's project is represented by .project file and only one .project file can exists in one directory. Due to LibreOffice directory structure, there are multiple targets/projects in one directory, e. g.: svx has number of libraries: svx svxcore [...] One approach to solve this would be to merge the multiple targets in one Eclipse project and use the union of all includes and defines for all targets in this subdirectory targets. To stay with svx example above, the solution would be to create single project svx and include all sources in this directory tree and use combined includes and all defines from all targets (dvx, svxcore, ...). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 72408] ACCESSIBILITY: Text areas in LibreOffice dialogs makes VoiceOver restart it self over and over
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72408 --- Comment #4 from Niklas Johansson sleeping.pil...@gmail.com --- I guess it is the VoiceOver part that needs explaining, if not let me know what part of the steps that needs further explanation. To start/stop VoiceOver use the key-combination Command+F5. If VoiceOver does not start press fn+Command+F5. It may be a good idea to take the tour (Learn more...-button) to learn a few basic commands if you are new to using VoiceOver. The most important key-combinations are ctrl+option+space(perform the default action press buttons etc.) ctrl+option+arrow key (move the VoiceOver-cursor) You should however be able to just use the mouse and keyboard as usual to test the steps outlined in the first column. Note that typing something in the text field is important and it is first when you move back to the text field containing text that the weird behavior occurs. Just tried it with LibreOffice 4.3.0.4 and the behavior is present but LibreOffice or VoiceOver seems to have gotten an update so it bails out after a reboot and puts focus on the first element in the dialog, in this case the tab CMIS-properties. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
