[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 89556] New: UI (REGRESSION): image not displayed directly after file open
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89556 Bug ID: 89556 Summary: UI (REGRESSION): image not displayed directly after file open Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.4.1.2 rc Hardware: Other OS: Mac OS X (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: fuchs_fr...@freenet.de Suppose you have a calc file with two tabs. On tab 1 you place an image. save and close file. Now: Whenever you open the .ods the image on tab 1 is NOT displayed (only the placeholder). However: if you then click on tab 2 and then change back to tab 1 (by clicking on tab 1), the image is shown. So it seems the image is not displayed only directly after the file was opened and the tab with the image is loaded for the first time. BTW, this behaviour is exactly the same if you place the image on tab 2 and tab 2 is displayed after file load. I re-tested with an empty .ods with just two tabs and an image in each tab. Obviously, this worked in versions of LO before 4.4 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 60064] [Feature request] define positional origin for tab stops
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60064 Jean-Baptiste Faure jbfa...@libreoffice.org changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDINFO CC||jbfa...@libreoffice.org Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #8 from Jean-Baptiste Faure jbfa...@libreoffice.org --- (In reply to ajlittoz from comment #0) [...] A simple example in TOC (table of contents) A TOC entry has 3 components: section number, title and page number. To nicely align these components, a style with 2 tab stops is defined: the first one as, say, 2cm, left align; the second as 17cm (DIN A4 - two 2cm page margins), right align. Now, document is switched to landscape. The style must be edited to change the second tab stop to 27.7cm. If the document is transmitted to the US, style must again be updated for US stationery. I disagree. If you did choose right align for the tab stop in the ToC dialog, it is enough to update the ToC (right click on the ToC area and choose update index). I did the following test with LibreOffice 4.4.2.0.0+: 1/ open a long text document with ToC and using several page styles, all in portrait 2/ edit each page style to switch it to landscape 3/ menu Tools Update Update All Current behavior: the ToC is updated as expected, page numbers updated and right aligned on the right margin. Test case in comment #3 is not a real life test case. It can easily solved if you avoid to use tabstops but use, for example a section or a table with 2 columns and a paragraph right aligned. Please, could you describe a test case from the real life for which you think the solution you propose is the best way to manage it? From my side, I can't imagine one, so I propose to close this enhancement as WONTFIX. Set status to NEEDINFO, please set it back to UNCONFIRMED once youo have provided requested information. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 89543] SIDEBAR: Reducing the height of the Line section
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89543 A (Andy) stgohi-lob...@yahoo.de changed: What|Removed |Added CC||stgohi-lob...@yahoo.de --- Comment #1 from A (Andy) stgohi-lob...@yahoo.de --- It is a good idea to condense the sidebar a little bit, but I am not sure whether it is good to combine Line and Arrow styles together. Is it in this case intuitive enough for what the three selection fields are, that two are for the arrows and one is for the line style? After you open the fields it is of course clear, but before you open it, is it intuitive enough? Or otherwise, should the section name in the attached proposal be changed from Style to Arrow and Line Style. Then it would maybe be a littler clearer? The attached file shows an example that I had in Calc. The bottom right is the 'normal' text. Three lines, with the bottom one in bold. Depending on the zoom level, the text is distorted in many ways: bold / italic / font (appearance). Some extra information: -This happens in all LO-apps I use: Calc, Writer, Impress. -I don't have a clear way of reproducing it. The apps normally start out perfectly fine. After a while this can happen, not always. Risk factors seem to include having multiple LO-files open, especially between different apps. -It is not always that the 100% zoom level is ok. That can be distorted too. -This never ever happens in any other app / program I use, so it does not seem to be related to my hardware (only). [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 89561] New: 4.4.1RC2 on OSX10.10: LO Language Pack can't be opened - security pref block install
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89561 Bug ID: 89561 Summary: 4.4.1RC2 on OSX10.10: LO Language Pack can't be opened - security pref block install Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.4.1.2 rc Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Mac OS X (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: blocker Priority: medium Component: Installation Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mi...@filmsi.net Upon launching LibreOffice Language Pack to install language pack on OSX a window pops up saying: LibreOffice Language Pack can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers. This did not happen with previous Lang Pack editions (or with previous OS subversions). It means that in order to install a lang pack a user is forced to lower security setting (unacceptable) or to go to System Preferences - Security Privacy - General and find the Open Anyway button at the bottom (most or half users don't know where to find it/what to do).
