Second- if I could I'll do it but until then what will > you do On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated yesterday or with LO Debian package, I don't reproduce the problem. So personally, I can't do anything. However, I've got other questions: 1) What happen if you just open Impress without opening any file? Does it crash too? 2) a) If you installed LO 64 bits, do you have Java 64 bits? or b) If you installed LO 32 bits, do you have Java 32 bits? 3) In LO options menu, could you: a) uncheck "Use hardware acceleration" in LO/View/Graphics Output part b) uncheck the OpenGL elements in the same place c) in LO/OpenCL, disable "Allow use of OpenCL" and give a new try? 4) Do you also reproduce this with LO 5.0.5? https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98215 Bug ID: 98215 Summary: EDITING: copy/paste of words from one doc to another changes text paragraph style Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.1.0.3 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: l...@zeta.org.au Created attachment 123021 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=123021=edit Screen grab of original text on left, and the changes made on the right I'm copying some text with an associated comment from one paragraph of style "Text Body" in one document into a paragraph of style "Text Body" in another document. The words copied, and sometimes the following sentence as well, changes from Text Body style to Default Text style. I think it is an error to change the paragraph style of text that you copy, when that text is less than a whole paragraph (in the latest example, it was a single word and the full stop after it, at the end of the paragraph). I also think it's an error to change the text from the paragraph style that it was formatted with (Text Body) into another style (Default paragraph). In both documents, Text Body is defined (I believe) the same, with the same pacing above and below, and same font and font size. It just happened again, and if you look closely you'll also see that it has changed the font size of the text immediately following the text which I copied over the top of (this is in the right hand side document). In other words, it changed the style of some text that had not even been selected! If you look at the font size part of the UI, you'll see that it has changed the font style from Times New Roman 14 pt to Times New Roman 12 pt. The only 12pt text I'm aware of is the 12pt Liberation Serif used in the source document - and of course the text which the paste has now changed into TNR 12. Selecting the whole paragraph shows that the paragraph style is "Default Style". Changing this back to "Text Body" corrects the errors introduced by the paste. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 95591] Autosave appears not to be working
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95591 --- Comment #10 from Luke Kendall--- Since my Linux system crashed while reporting this bug, I'm in position to note that as expected, since the backup area was empty, none of the documents were recovered from there. But I would like to point out (again) that LO does not do what it says it will, after the autorecovery is complete. I'll attach a screenshot. It says if I click Save, the files listed will be saved in a directory (in this case, my Home directory). I clicked Save: the documents were *not* saved there. As far as I could see, they were not saved anywhere new. When I clicked Save from one of the (now reopened) document, that too did not save in the directory stated in the autorecovery panel (good), but was saved in the directory where the document "lives" (good). Could someone please correct the autorecovery-completion dialogue to state what it will really do when you click Save? [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 60418] FILEOPEN and EDITING particular .odt with excessive lots of Comments causes heavy CPU and memory load, can crash on saving
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60418 --- Comment #27 from Luke Kendall--- I'm now using LO 5.1.0.3. The issue is not improved. Today I also noticed a new problem: in the document with many comments, as I address each, I delete the comment (so that performance will gradually improve). For comments that require further discussion, I copy the text, with comment included, into the new version of the document and then reply to the comment. Currently, it takes 10-20 seconds for the many-comment document to respond when I click on the comment. I have found that if I click, wait, then hover or click on the drop-down comment-actions button, at some stage the "Activate this button..." balloon help will pop up, and then if I click, on the arrow, the menu will appear within a second or so. BUT, for comments for which the associated text is still selected, when I click on the "Delete" action in the comment menu, often now, instead of deleting the comment, the selected text that the comment refers to is deleted! This happens about 50% of the time. The first three times it happened, I convinced myself I must have hit the Delete key instead of selecting the Delete Comment menu item: but that is not the case. The Delete Comment *sometimes* deletes the associated text, if it is selected. You can Undo, and the select Delete Comment again, and the comment will be reliably deleted on this second attempt. However, another oddity I noticed is that when the comment has been successfully deleted, if I Undo that operation, while the comment reappears, it points to just the very end of the span of text that it was previously associated with. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64900 --- Comment #11 from Andrei--- Is there someone who can work on this bug/missing_feature ? If not, maybe, I can do some contributions to this. I'm not sure where to start because I've recently found out about LibreOffice. Some of my background, I've been working in VBA for some time now and now I've recently discovered Apache OpenOffice. At the beggining I didn't understood why this OpenOffice uses this obsolete, hard to write, VBA stuff, because other languages have major advantages over this. I've been just scratch the surface with python in OpenOffice. After that some of my work coleagues use LibreOffice and showed me that LibreOffice vs Apache OpenOffice seems more up-to-date with what end-users need. Also Apache OpenOffice is <3 where LibreOffice is >3. The fact that there not easy-to-use documentation of how to use python with LibreOffice make people not so easy to get involved this stuff. Maybe I can help, with some documentation, maybe some examples. ( I've only recently findout how to embed python scripts inside the actual .odt document, but you have the edit the manifest.xml, and thats not very user friendly, also in order to edit a python script inside the .odf file, you need to have some tricks in place, because LibreOffice does not support editing files except basic ? ) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 98160] Images are not shown in a WRITER document
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98160 --- Comment #4 from A (Andy)--- Thanks for all your replys! I tested it once more and recognized one maybe important thing. If I make a double click on the not shown image then the dialogue box "Image" with the tab MACRO is opened and under Assignments the entry Event = "Could not load image" is selected. Together a second dialogue box "JRE is Defective: LibreOffice requires a Java runtime environment (JRE) to perform this task. The selected JRE is defective. Please select another version or install a new JRE and select it under Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Advanced." is opened. Under TOOLS is in my case a correct Java Oracle entry shown. If I check my Java version then it shows that it is up-to-date and I see no problems with it. Maybe, there was a bug with my last Java update? I will try to re-install Java to check it. @V Stuart Foote: I have the same result in both cases. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Marking the cell dirty alone appears to be sufficient to trigger resetting of number format. SetDirty() would mark it dirty *and* put the cell into formula tree, which would prevent proper value propagation as seen in the bug report.
