[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 99259] New: Cursor being wrongly displayed
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99259 Bug ID: 99259 Summary: Cursor being wrongly displayed Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.1.2.2 release Hardware: All OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: graphics stack Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: rgno...@gmail.com Created attachment 124293 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=124293=edit An example of how the cursor behaves in this LO version When I type a text in Writer, Calc, Math or Impress (I didn't test in Base), and move the cursor back, a 'blinking' black box appears instead of a 'normal' cursor (see the attached screenshot). This makes extremely hard to type any additional text (you can't see where the cursor actually is located, you can't see which characters are actually being entered when you type, or if you make a mistake when typing, and so on). This bug appeared after LibreOffice was upgraded to version 5.1.2.2 LO Version: 5.1.2.2.0+ Compilation ID: 5.1.2.2 Arch Linux build-1 OS: Antergos (Arch Linux based distro), 64 bits. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 66507] CALC: serious performance problems in ods file, primarily in sheets with charts
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66507 --- Comment #34 from m.a.riosv--- Created attachment 124287 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=124287=edit Deleting charts and adding a Pivot Table with a chart. Introducing in your last sample a value in Napokra.A26 takes about 24 seconds, even that cell it's not part of any chart. Doing the same after deleting the charts in the sheet takes about 2-3 seconds. Moving horizontally through Napokra sheet with the charts in the window it's really slow, specially when a chart begins to be visible. With my sample, where I deleted the charts and added three columns on m1 to have the values for insert a pivot table avoiding the formulas. Introducing a value in the Pivot table sheet with a new chart, has no delay, but the problem of move horizontally remains. It's like if charts update has high priority. Similar seems to happen with conditional formatting. So I think there is a bug on the charts with ranges over heavy formulas. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 98784] Spanish accelerators in Insert menu repeated
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98784 --- Comment #3 from Roy Reese--- Great addition, but I think there is a human/user-side consideration as well. The problem here is the new sub-menu created by the merging of headers and footers into one item on the drop-down. Is this really the best for the user? In this specific case, I use footers nearly every day, but cannot recall the last time I used a header. Others may have the opposite experience or use both frequently. While I suppose that the burgeoning of menu entries led to the decision to combine these, it means an extra step for those who use one of the features on the sub-menu, and is bothersome when the user uses only or predominantly one of 2+ items. While I have tried to resist any sort of knee-jerk reaction to change, I think that the menu reorganizations require a review and/or significant user input. This comments take us a bit further afield from the bug report, so will be happy to make these on an feature request (new or ongoing) or other appropriate forum. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 99250] New: Bluetooth socket left unclosed if connection failed
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99250 Bug ID: 99250 Summary: Bluetooth socket left unclosed if connection failed Product: Impress Remote Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: Android Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Android app Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: vi...@rice.edu Hi, we're a research team at Rice University working on automatic detection of anomalies in open source Android apps. Our tool was able to detect in the Impress Remote app that the BluetoothSocket "mServerConnection" in the class BluetoothServerConnection.java is left unclosed in the "open()" method in case the connection failed and threw an exception (lines 46-50). Our tool works by automatically learning API usage specifications from thousands of Android apps, and in this case it learned that when "connect()" called on a BluetoothSocket object throws an exception, it is almost always followed by a "close()" on that object. If not, depending on the state of the socket when the connection failed, it could be left open thereby preventing future requests (possibly by other apps) to use the socket. We could not produce an actual observable bug from this but it is conceivable that this may be exploited if one intends to. For our research purposes, we would greatly appreciate it if you can provide your comments regarding the nature/severity of this "bug". [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 99190] Calc cell border thickness is not shown correctly on screen
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99190 --- Comment #8 from Roeland--- Actually the issue is more easy to reproduce than I thought. I guess this will be more like an improvement request than a bug report: Steps to reproduce: *select some cells in calc, then rightclick and chose "format cells". *create some lines around some cells with 0.05pt, then take a small part of those lines with 0.75 *result: although the thickness of the lines isn't the same, they look exactly the same in Calc. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 99240] Can't insert custom [formated] AutoCorrection text made in Writer / lock after using that autocorr shortcut
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99240 --- Comment #9 from Kruno--- One issue! [introduction] Default autocorr text works fine. [problem description] If custom replacement added within Writer (formated or not), it can only be used within Writer. Impress doesn't even see newly added entry under Tools → AutoCorrection Options... [further problem description] If autocorr added to replacement table within Impress, I can use it in Writer and in Impress. If I manually put atocorr rule in DocumetList.xml I can use that entry both, from Impress and from Writer. So I can't use autcorr from both modules only if autocorr entry made within Writer from Tools → AutoCorretion options. [personal tough and conclusion] So if every autocorr entry resigns within one file/folder, both modules should be able to use it. No point adding the same thing twice.
