Image manipulation is preferably done in Draw and Impress where you have the
awesome Duplicate feature (Shift+F3 or Edit > Duplicate). As for Writer I think
this request is a WFM/WINTFIX.
On the other hand in bug 100028 a quick duplication is requested that makes
this one here a duplicate.

It depends on which part is marked for copying. From end of line before "1.
Which [...]" to end of line "g) [...]" works. From immediately before "Which"
to line after ""g) [...]" works too. But from immediately before "Which" to end
of line "g) [...]" does not work.

BTW, is it intended, that 1. 2. … is a different list than a) b) c) …?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104948] New: Install does not register Windows extensions

2016-12-27 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104948

Bug ID: 104948
Summary: Install does not register Windows extensions
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.4.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Installation
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: toddandma...@zoho.com

Dear Libre Office,

Windows 7 Pro SP1, x32 and x64
Libre Office 5.2.4.2 x32 and x64
M$ Office does not and has not resided in any form on these machines

Over that prior week, I did a number of upgrade on to older version of Libre
Office for Windows. I did so by uninstalling the older (usually a lot older)
version and reinstalling the newer version as typical right after it.

Today, I am getting tons of complaints about Libre Office "failing". On
investigation, I found that Libre Office is fine, the Windows registry does not
contain any entries for odt or odx extensions (easily repaired).

What transpired was that the uninstall removed the registry entries but the new
install never put them back.

Please fix

Many thanks,
-T

Indeed, without the file, we can't reproduce and therefore investigate here.

What was your LO former version?
Also, do you have anterior versions (backups) of this csv file to give it a
try?

It seems the file is corrupted some way. The problem is the sheet name. The
config-item-map-entry part doesn't contain this sheet name.

Except if you know exactly how to reproduce this (original file + step by step
process to get this corrupted file), I don't think it's possible to do anything
here.

BTW, last stable LO version is 5.2.4

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104947] New: Breakpoints don't work first time round

2016-12-27 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104947

Bug ID: 104947
Summary: Breakpoints don't work first time round
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.3.3 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Base
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: l...@ptoye.com

The first time a breakpoint in an LO macro is hit the code doesn't break. Run
the macro again and it works OK. For instance:

Sub Main

dim i as integer

i=1

While i < 5

' Put a breakpoint on the next statement
msgbox ("Repeat " & i)
i=i+1

wend

msgbox (" ended")

End Sub

1) Save the macro within the document (it doesn't seem to matter if it's a
Writer or Calc - I've not tried others).

2) Put a breakpoint where indicated.

3) Run the macro from the Tools|Macros|Run macro menu (note: you have to do
this from the main LO window, not the LO Basic editor window - no idea why!)

4) It runs to completion.

5) Repeat step 3

6) The breakpoint works.

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I could reproduce this.

It seems LO can't see an hidden sheet named:
file:///home/julien/to/tmp/1/DDI.fods/DDI.fods/DDI.fods/DDI.fods/DDI.fods/DDI.fods/DDI.fods/DDI.fods/DDI.fods/DDI.fods/m/amf/X%C3%A0bia/DDI/quadern%20del%20professor%20de%20DDI%202016-2017.fods/SSII/quadern%20del%20professor%20dSSII%202016-2017.fods#Actituds

But how did you create this file?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104945] New: Problems copying paragraphs, like the questions of an examination

2016-12-27 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104945

Bug ID: 104945
Summary: Problems copying paragraphs, like the questions of an
examination
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.2.2.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: ku...@gmx.com

Description:
Hi!

A sample of a document (for an examination) is attached, that document already
has two questions. If you use Word you can "copy" the first question and insert
it between the first and the second ones.

However, if you try to do the same using Libreoffice Writer: the result is
unexpected and you have to make too many changes to the "pasted" question; you
can't even "clone formatting" to try to solve the problem intuitively.

I'm sure that this problem will happen in other cases.

Thanks for Writer!

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached document.
2. The attached document already has two questions. You can try "copying" the
first question and insert it between the first and the second ones.

Actual Results:
The pasted question (and its possible answers) have a wrong format.

Expected Results:
The pasted question (and its possible answers) should have the same format as
it had.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104944] New: gtk3: Some mouse events go to the wrong window after focus grab

2016-12-27 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104944

Bug ID: 104944
Summary: gtk3: Some mouse events go to the wrong window after
focus grab
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.4.0.0.alpha0+ Master
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: graphics stack
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: momonas...@gmail.com
CC: caol...@redhat.com

Steps to reproduce:

1. Customize the second docked toolbar from the top (e.g. Formatting toolbar in
Writer), and add the "Insert Table" dropdown button as the *first* item there.

2. Click on the button. The popup will show but close immediately.

The problem isn't specific to the "Insert Table" popup, it's just an easy
reproducer. What seems to happen is that after the popup gets the focus, it
receives mouse move and mouse up events, that were supposed to go to the
parent, with the coordinates of the parent - so it treats it as if clicking
inside the popup in the same coordinates.

What seems to eliminate this behavior is either:

1. Reorder the callbacks in GtkSalFrame::signalButton. So
SalEvent::MouseButtonUp goes first, and SalEvent::Move afterwards.

2. Comment all mouse grabs in GtkSalFrame::Show.

But I doubt any of those is the right fix...

When opening this file: Calc asks you about updating links that really
shouldn't exist.

Hi!

DESCRIPTION:
Calc says that an empty file... has links to other files.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Open the attached file, it asks you about updating links that really shouldn't
exist.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
You can try opening the attached file, adding another sheet, deleting the old
sheet (so the file should be clean), closing the file, opening the file
again... and it keeps you asking about updating links that really shouldn't
exist.

You can try saving the file in odt format. Then it doesn't ask about updating
links (!).

Thanks for Calc!

With OpenGL rendering enabled the glyph spacing is wrong for the sample/or
selected text in the Character dialog.

Text is correctly rendered to presentation canvas--just the dialog's preview is
affected.

With default rendering, the layout is correct in the dialog and on canvas.

A lot has changed regarding borders and most complaints seem to be from the
3.6/4.0 time frame. In 5.3beta2, in general things look pretty nice - not
ugly. And specifically cell A1 is showing as a double line instead of a
single-thick line.

I suggest (by marking it as worksforme) that this bug be closed since it
doesn't seem to be a current issue.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104942] New: Table design issues

2016-12-27 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104942

Bug ID: 104942
   Summary: Table design issues
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.3.0.0.beta2
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Base
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: gerhard.scha...@gmx.at

The Firebird support is much better now, but there are still some table design
related issues.

I am trying to move a HSQLDB based file to a Firebird based file, because I
consider Firebird better and faster. I just drag tables from one base document
to the other, but have a couple of issues to get the table design over to the
Firebird based file.

1. The definition is copied, but not the table data, nor the indexes.
Error code: 1
firebird_sdbc error:
*Attempt to reclose a closed cursor
caused by
'isc_dsql_free_statement: close cursor'

2. All auto increment fields of the source document become normal fields in the
Firebird base file.

3. When I then change the auto increment from No to Yes, I get the error:
SQL Status: IM001
Changing autoincrement property of existing column is not supported

4. When I try to create a view from a query (right-click, select Create as
View), then I get the following error.
Error code: 1
firebird_sdbc error:
*Dynamic SQL Error
*SQL error code = -104
*Token unknown - line 1, column 397
*(
caused by
'isc_dsql_prepare'

This issue is slightlyrelated to bug #103715.

Having considerable difficulty with Tools > Options on Win 10 64 with LO
5.3.0.1
Attempting to set default colour. Tools Options appears, but very difficult to
select Application Colours (very slow and inconsistent, needed to try several
times) and even when there can't get the drop down list of colours. Have just
installed the FreiFarbe palettes. Noticed that this also slowed down selecting
a palette in the Area dialogue.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104927] Text Import - fixed width mode not adjusting csvtablebox for multi-byte fonts

Summary|Text Import incorrect data |Text Import - fixed width

Confirmed.

The "fixed width" Big5 encoded Traditional Chinese sample document, or similar
in utf-8, are not correctly handled by the csvtablebox GUI.

The ruler and column selection do not adjust char to handle multi-byte
characters, so the column positions for the "fixed width" import is corrupt and
can not be set.

Actual import does honor the encoding and fielding as set--but the GUI (ruler
and grid) have wrong layout so impossible to correctly set column widths.

Testing on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit en-US with
Version: 5.2.4.1 (x64)
Build ID: 9b50003582f07ac674d6451e411e9b77cccd2b22
CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Windows 6.19; UI Render: default;
Locale: en-US (en_US); Calc: group

On open into Calc, document correctly triggers Text Import dialog and is
detected as Chinese Traditional and fixed width, but font encoding is initially
identified as utf-8, change that to Chinese Traditional (Big5) and glyphs are
correctly rendered to the GUI.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 41063] Saving/Autosaving (Save/Autosave) while in table causes view to jump to cursor position

debugging code showing one factor (progressbar) that triggers the screen
refresh

The debugging patch led to the gtkdata brick wall of Yield()
   wasOneEvent = g_main_context_iteration( nullptr, bWait && !bWasEvent );

When bHandleAllCurrentEvents is true, then one of the events that runs causes
the screen repositioning. The Save procedure's progress bar is one item that
calls for a Yield(bHandleAllCurrentEvents=true). However, there is some other
unknown thing that also triggers the screen repositioning long after the save
procedure has finished.

CC Caolán McNamara - I'm drowning here. Impossible to fix?
