Here is my understanding on the delay... 
With WPS spreadsheet  or Windows office Excel, once I press enter after
updating the data source, the chart is immediately updated. With Libreoffice
calc, there is a slight delayed (half second to max of 2 seconds delay).

Agree with the WONTFIX... diametric to bug 105841 reverting where Tor had
already had a go at this.

As Regina pointed out, split name is required by ODF 1.2

The 100% font metric size is the core measurement for any textual content, not
the value (115%) now assigned to Text Body.

Anywhere that uses Default paragraph (aka Standard) for multi-line spacing
would be impacted by moving from 100% (as read from Font metric) to a
proportional 115% scaling. And when lining up textual content (e.g. text boxes
and frames) with paragraph styling gets disrupted.

We gain little by refactoring everything that inherits from default to pick up
the value for Text Body.

Yes ContextLabel is normally short when the top level or sub menu give the
context, but you also have entries where the hierarchy only helps with
organization and the string is independent like File > Preview in Web Browser,
Edit > Select All, View > Hide Whitespace, Format > Spacing > Increase
Paragraph Spacing, Table > Merge Cells, Tools > Mail Merge Wizard.

So which xml files did you want to do this in (menus, context menus, toolbars)?

If we added the label into the xml as mentioned above, we'd also have the same

Check and see if there is a performance hit. If so, i know you'll figure out a

True that its just another identifier, but when users open up the customization
dialog and search for example 'new slide' in impress as it appears in the Slide
menu and dont find the entry and dont have any indication that its the same as
'new page', this isnt an easy issue for users to deal with.

Yes i was trying to have the alias in the same original command in my example
xml code. :D

steps:
1. open writer
2. draw a shape
3. change the line and fill colors in toolbar split buttons
4. deselect shape
5. reselect shape
6. split button colors no longer have the recently applied colors in the icon
portion of the split button

Maxim: Any thoughts why .uno:XLineStyle and .uno:FillColor are resetting back
to the default blue colors after the toolbar looses context?

As I already posted in comment #3 I knew that I had to enlarge and undock the
dialogue windows. Nevertheless the icon should be visible without having to
enlarge the window.

However the "use icons instead of words" gave me a hint and I looked up why
there were no icons but only words. Finally I discovered that I had to install
from the package manager the following:

Libreoffice-gtk2
Libreoffice-gtk3

I also installed 

Libreoffice-style-oxygen
Libreoffice-style-tango

then I restarted libreoffice and... voila: -->

Apparently these packages were essential (Linux Mint 18.2 fully updated) for
the Libreoffice UI to work perfectly. I don't know though why they weren't
installed in the first place, since the installation of libreoffice was from
the official repository... Maybe this should be investigated.

unfortunately I am not a real specialist for using Calc as designers of this
might have thought of. I tried out what worked for me and ended up doing so as
above. 

As can be seen I was able getting a picture showing the data.

Also I am able clicking on the axes to change them. This works for me as it did
in MS Excel also. Unfortunately it does not work in LO. This bothers me. I
simply do not understand why this is not possible there. 

I really would like the behaviour as it was using MS Excel. This was easy and
understandable. I do not understand LO here. May be I am too stupid. Sorry for
that. May be also many others are as stupid as me. I think this could be the
case. 

Therefore I hope there will be some help here.

Description:
Format --> Paragraph --> Text Flow --> Keep with next paragraph toggle not
working as expected.  Paragraphs marked with Keep with next paragraph enabled
are on previous page.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a multi-page document
2. apply heading styles and body paragraph styles
3. manually toggle Keep with next paragraph

Actual Results:  
if "next" paragraph is on the next page, sometimes when Keep with next
paragraph is checked, it does not follow the "next" paragraph to the next page.

Expected Results:
If "keep with next paragraph" is checked and "next" paragraph is on the next
page, bump the paragraph to the next page.


Reproducible: Always

Yes I have .uno:SpacePara115 implemented but ran into make check failing a unit
test. Lot of different modules use .uno:SpaceParaXX. I will focus on Writer
first.

Happens in Ubuntu Mate 16.04 with Mate 1.12.1 with 6.0 alpha 1 git build gtk2,

It works fine.
It is an enhancement that MO already have.

Following:
+ Insert x error bar
+ A menu apears > choose Line Tab

There you can choose line style.
It will plot like an "I" (with these two start-finish lines).
But if you change WIDTH, then, something ugly appears and leads to confusion.

Well, the other day I was testing 6.0 alpha 1 and I no longer knew if the first
name was a "surname" or a "forename".

I know it is silly... but if we could just have one field named "Name:" it
would be easier for everyone to understand and fill.

How hard it is to translate one word?

Debian 9 on a HP Elitebook 840 G2, LO 5.3.7.2.
The problem still exists for me.
Switching to OpenGL solves the issue, but then sometimes the menu bar and
scrollbar becomes all black.
So I am still stuck with 5.2.7 for now.

We talked about this question intensively during LibOCon. Changing the image
size makes the text around floating and may end in a Schroedinger situations
when at the end of the page. However, sometimes it makes sense to keep the
image size, so ideally we have two possible interactions. 

IIRC, the idea was to make that depending the outer frame. If there is a
distance between the inner frame (aka image) and the outer it should remain.
Otherwise the image keeps it's size. Armin asked many people about the
expectation, and likely knows how to solve it.

There is some interference here with another bug that I reported concerning
this symbol bar (taken up by Yousuf Philips): The fill color item occurs doubly
in v. 5.4.2.2. And in one of its occurrences, it does show the current color.
Maybe we can keep this one and discard the blue picture.

Please remember that color is not the only property to be applied to drawings.
I am referring to all of them.

As far as properties chosen by the user go, there are, in fact, three
desiderata:

- If I click on a drawing, the properties displayed in the properties bar
should be those of the object in question. Instead, they are always the same.

- If I insert a series of such drawings in a document (remember we are talking
about text documents, not pictures), then it is more probable that all of them
have the same graphic properties than that each of them will be different.
Therefore, it would be helpful if Writer could simply remember the properties
used last and then, if the properties bar pops up again, offer the same values
to be applied to the next drawing, so I do not need to set them again.

- Several of the properties menus and combo boxes on this symbol bar have an
option 'Standard' (probably 'Default' in the English version). This could be
useful if the user were actually allowed to define his standard. As it is now,
he is not, and he is not even told what these defaults are, so these defaults
are useless.

Sorry, my fault. I had a look at properties of images not of drawings.

I can confirm your bug. I think it is not the problem, that writer doesn't
remeber the recent used colour. If you open "Line Colour" or "Fill Coulour" the
recent colour is shown.

But it would be very userfriendly, if this colour is also shown in the icon
itself, so that you immediately can click on it.

I'm not realy sure, if this is what you like to have. Or do you really want to
define a favourite colour (I assume this has to be added to tools => options =>
LibreOffice => Application Colours)?

The option:
"Forename/Surname/initials:" is useless.

Why can't it be renamed to "Name:" and only have one textbox for the three
