Ok, let's close.

I did find this version of the dictionary, which contains "Tammin":
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gitextensions/gitextensions/master/Bin/Dictionaries/en-AU.dic
But it is from 2009 or earlier.

** Please read this message in its entirety before responding **

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Last step, outcome of Table of Contents

When opening the new .docx file, the Table of Content entries has their
linenumbers badly aligned, aswell as the marker text for the entries is not on
the actual text.

Updating the Table of Contents fixes the spacing, but lines have moved:
"Line 1, level 1" has now been placed on level two
"Line 2, level 2" has now been placed on level three
"Line 3, level 1" has now been placed on level two

Saving the file and reopening shows the same problem, updating the Table of
Contents moves lines even further

Its not a duplikat. I mean the Quick Starter function on LibreOffice.
The Video shows my problem with the Quick Start and not the Performance as Bug

They are similar but not equal.

When clicking on an element in the Navigator, the Navigation toolbar pops up
and its back and forth buttons dont seem to work correctly, so i'd prefer that
this toolbar not appear and disrupt the position of the existing formatting
toolbar and preferably be completely removed if the functionality of the
buttons cant be clearly understood.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115286] Australian English spellchecker does not work

Yes, I have a good idea.

Go to:
https://github.com/marcoagpinto/aoo-mozilla-en-dict
and click in the en_AU folder.

Then, download:
wordlist_kevin_en_AU_20170824_123280w.txt
(I had to upload it minutes ago because I forgot it in the last GitHub update)
and edit it with Notepad++ or other text editor.

There you will have the whole words available in the AU speller.

The words you have looked for in LO aren't there, thus they are reported as
typos.

To have a clear picture of it, what happens is that the old AU speller wasn't
maintained any more, so we moved to the Kevin Atkinson version (US+CA+AU), but
I am not satisfied a bit with them (a long story), but I only maintain the GB
speller, so, for any issues with the others, you must contact Kevin:
https://github.com/en-wl/wordlist

To change the language of a full document in LO, go to:
Tools > Language > For all text
... but it won't solve the missing words.

This is just my two cents, not much I can do about it. Ask Kevin to add the
words (and good luck with it (long story)).

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115808] Impress displays images differently on different machines ( screen resolutions?)

2018-02-17 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115808

The following steps *might* mitigate the problem, but are certainly not ideal.

1. For an existing image in a presentation, right click on an image and select
"Compress". Then **deselect** "Reduce image resolution". Then select "OK".

2. Crop as needed. Then do all of (1) again.

3. When importing new images, follow the steps in (1), crop as needed, and
again do (1).

Finally, even if one follows the steps above and the images display correctly
on the slide view, they are still typically mucked up on the 'slide sorter'
view. The slide thumbnails are redrawn at some point in working with a
presentation and then look fine, but the redrawn thumbnails are lost on closing
the .odp.

The resolution to these two problems seems like it might be relatively quick
for a developer who knows the code.

A. Why not, when importing new images just go through the compression steps
listed above? Whatever that does internally in the .odp appears to work in
most cases.

B. To solve the 'slide sorter' view problem, why not just redraw all the
thumbnails whenever a presentation is opened?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115573] EDITING: Table loses formatting when inserting a new row in a table

2018-02-17 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115573

The following paragraph is from my interpretation of the AutoFormat code.

AutoFormat is not the same as a style or template. Once an AutoFormat is set
for a table that table will lose user formatting when adding or removing a row
or column because that is what it has been set to do.

The recent change to using the AutoFormat 'Default Style' when inserting a new
table has caused the problems being reported.

Patch set 2 removes the 'Default Style' style name from the inserted table so
user formatting will work as expected.

To see this is happening:

1. apply patch set 2
2. open the Sidebar - Styles - 'Table Styles'
3. insert a table using the toolbar 'Insert Table' tool item or Ctrl-F12 to
open the 'Insert Table' dialog

Notice after the table is inserted 'Default Style' in the Sidebar is not
highlighted.

4. make user format changes to the table
5. insert or delete row or column

My results: table does not lose formatting

Hi Fredrik, thanks for your bug report.

I can't reproduce any change. Can you explain more clearly what you mean with
"entries move down"? Please attach sample file(s) and/or screenshots showing
the ToC before and after.

I set the bug into status NEEDINFO.
When you provide files or screenshots, please change back to UNCONFIRMED.

Reproduced using LO 5.2.0.4 / Windows 7, with OpenGL enabled.
The shape is complete in 5.1.0.3.
=> regression

Not sure if it can be bibisected, I tend to have problems with OpenGL in dev
builds before 5.2.

There's a positioning bug when trying to move the handle of the shape, for that
I opened bug 115813.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115813] New: Position shifted while moving the handle of OOXML Callout shape

2018-02-17 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115813

Bug ID: 115813
Summary: Position shifted while moving the handle of OOXML
Callout shape
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.3.0.3 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: ba...@caesar.elte.hu
Blocks: 104442

- Open attachment 139854 from bug 115671, a DOCX created in MS Office with a
single callout shape.
- Grab handle of the callout shape.

=> The handle is shown at a shifted position compared to where the cursor is.

Reproduced using LO 6.1.0.1 & 5.3.0.3 / Windows 7.
In 5.2.0.4 it behaved worse, the handle immediately shifted out of view when
the user grabbed the handle, so something changed since then, but the behavior
still isn't correct.

I think it should fix all cases. XLSX does not allow some of the complicated
formulas that would require us to move the formula calculation after the
import.

Guess if we were to do something for bug 112426, that would also be the place
to adjust the resolution used for the inserted image.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115811] New: pdfium based ipdf defaults to 96 dpi for image, need an option for higher resolution

2018-02-17 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115811

Bug ID: 115811
Summary: pdfium based ipdf defaults to 96 dpi for image, need
an option for higher resolution
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 5.3.0.3 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: filters and storage
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu

The ipdf filter looks to default to 96 dpi resolution [1] when importing from a
PDF. This is OK, but ability to increase the resolution (and size) of the
imported PNG rendering would be helpful. 96 dpi is just too low a resolution
when dealing with import of full pages from a PDF. Seems providing 300 or 600
dpi would be helpful and allow for quality printout/export from the resulting
ODF.

Sorry for wrong term (English is not my native) - Geodesy (surveying) is the
one I needed to use (electronic theodolites and other equipment software often
outputs data in CSVs having DAT extension, for example).

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115573] EDITING: Table loses formatting when inserting a new row in a table

2018-02-17 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115573

There have been some work-around comments that mention using the 'none' option
on the auto format button. I too cannot find a 'none' option. The only
possibility is to make a selection of one of the styles presented. If the
default style is taken, it is not the current default style but the original
style before the 'table contents' style was updated. For whatever reason,
after selecting something - it doesn't matter what - Ctl-Z can be used to
remove the selection. At this point, the table appears like it should. In
short, a work around might be:

1. Select the auto-format button
2. Choose any of the available styles
3. After it has been applied, use Ctl-Z to remove the choice

Any chance we'll see a real fix soon?
