I'm guessing that since the timer starts when the slide first appears, that causes it to count as "previous" even though it hasn't actually completed yet. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 116722] Selecting Insert>Field> More Fields in Footer causes crash. OK if in body of text.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116722 Deanchanged: What|Removed |Added Status|NEEDINFO|UNCONFIRMED Hardware|All |x86-64 (AMD64) Version|unspecified |6.0.2.1 release Ever confirmed|1 |0 OS|All |Windows (All) --- Comment #2 from Dean --- This is weird. I find that that the bug persists on my principal desktop (running Windows 10 Pro), but no bug/crash on another desktop and a laptop, both running the same version of LO and both supposedly running the same Windows 10 (the desktop the Home version; the laptop the Pro version). When I said earlier that a work around was to enter the fields in the main text and then copy to the footer, I was using that second desktop. I verified today that I can write fields directly into the footer on that device. But, if I try to call Insert>More Fields on the first desktop, LO-6 will crash when I am writing to text or to footer. The problem never arose under LO-5. "Document Recovery" was common under LO-5 when saved documents were reopened, but the recovery was almost always successful and done quickly. Document Recovery was not so common before under OpenOffice (or MS Word). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 116723] New: LibreOffice programs have no window title bar icon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116723 Bug ID: 116723 Summary: LibreOffice programs have no window title bar icon Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.4.5.1 release Hardware: x86 (IA32) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: trivial Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: nachanon_vetja...@hotmail.com Created attachment 140995 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=140995=edit Screenshot of Writer window and system's task switcher dialog This is a cosmetic bug- albeit impairing usability, it does not affect functionality of office suite themselves. I have recently upgraded my LibreOffice installation to version 5.4. While frequently switching back and forth between each program in the suite and other programs on the workspace, I found that LibreOffice does not have window title bar icon- which leads to confusion and mental double-take every time the system's task switcher (Alt+Tab) got used. Screenshots of each LibreOffice program while invoking desktop's task switcher (Alt+Tab) are attached: - You would see that a placeholder "image missing" icon is displayed at left side of every LibreOffice programs' title bar instead of the program's icon itself (or document's thumbnail). - You would see that a placeholder "image missing" icon is displayed on desktop's task switcher dialog (at the middle of screen), instead of the respective LibreOffice program's icon itself (or document's thumbnail). This causes confusion when there are multiple LibreOffice programs opened at the same time; user won't know which one is which until he/she moves the task switcher's cursor pass each of them. (Really time-consuming when there are dozens of programs running on the workspace) The problem affects all LibreOffice programs: Writer, Calc, Impress, Base, Draw, Math, and the main launcher; as demonstrated in the screenshots. Note: This problem is most prominent when LibreOffice is running under a traditional non-compositing window manager. If you are using a compositing one, disable its compositing function first before testing (or at least, disable its window thumbnailing function). Steps to reproduce (for the record): 1. Start any LibreOffice program (Writer, Calc, Impress, Base, Draw, Math, or the main LibreOffice launcher). 2. Look at its window icon (usually located on the left side of title bar; at top-left corner of the window). 3. You would see that there is no icon (or a system's placeholder icon) displayed on the window's title bar. 4. Hold Alt key, press Tab key (don't release Alt key yet). 5. You would see that the icon that should have been the LibreOffice program was not displayed (or displayed using system's placeholder icon). LibreOffice: 5.4.5.1 32-bit (Debian packages from libreoffice.org) Window manager: MATE Marco 1.8.1 (Debian; with compositing disabled) Desktop: MATE 1.8.1 (Debian) Display server: X11R7 Xorg 7.7 (Debian) System: Debian GNU/Linux 7.0 Wheezy i386 "About LibreOffice" dialog information follows... P.S. I encountered an "You must select/enter a version." error when attempting to submit the report via "guided" form (despite the Version field being set to "5.4.5.1 release"), so I have to use the "plain" form instead. Note that the attempt of submission was made using Pale Moon 25.8.1 with JavaScript disabled. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 39743] Install overwrites newer versions of fonts
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39743 --- Comment #9 from Mike Kaganski--- Some background FYI. At the time of filing the issue, LibreOffice MSI installer didn't contain font version data, and thus unconditionally copied its fonts. Then, in fix for Bug 76239 (which was actually a dupe for this), versions started to be written to MSI, and so installer should have not downgraded fonts. But the fix was insufficient due to then-lacking of proper library that would correctly parse font files (a workaround was imperfect), so some of fonts were either not processed (otf), or report wrong version (usually unconditional 1.0). The duped bug 115243 is the example of the latter, where the font would have wrong version 1.0 in our MSI DB, while actual version is 0.111, which is less that 1.0, thus LibreOffice assumed to have a later version and "upgraded" with actually lover version. So, as Andras pointed out, we hope to get rid of the problem now since we fixed bug 116581, and Khaled Hosny helped finding the library that reports versions properly. Any future problems of this kind should be reported separately, since it would be bugs in new functionality, as opposed to this one filed against then-absent functionality. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 111330] Installation: does not use latest font version, and replaces with bundled-older
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=111330 --- Comment #4 from Mike Kaganski--- I'm not sure I understand the problem correctly. The description is vague. As far as I know, 5.4.0.3 bundled 2.030 version of SourceCodePro fonts. So, it's unclear how could it downgrade to 2.010. Also, at least for these fonts, it's improbable that LibreOffice would do all this, because it actually does contain fonts versions in MSI, and unless its records are wrong and report values greater than actual (which isn't the case for these fonts), it should do the job right. Just FYI: we don't bundle PT Serif anymore as of 6.0. The commit https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=c91f70f9b0129685737260c04a2e347726f1dedf should take care of the cases where our MSI database contained wrong version records; but as I said, this was not the case for these fonts. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
