Description:
Hi,

A word document consisting of tables with merged cells when converted to a HTML
document through LibreOffice 6 version.

The Word file clearly shows where the lines need to be for the appropriate data
to be read correctly from the table. When rendered as HTML, unfortunately,
displays the ways in which the column lines are shifted and skewed incorrectly.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Take a Word document having merged cells in a table
2. Open the file in LibreOffice
3. Convert the file to HTML using Save as option

Actual Results:  
The column lines are shifted and skewed incorrectly in the resultant file

Expected Results:
The table with merged cells in the document should come same after the
conversion

I suppose this is a "feature" designed, to protect someone from opening their
spreadsheet on a low resolution beamer and being unable to scroll as the whole
screen is taken up by frozen cells. So dragging the window to a small
rectangle, until the frozen line touches the scrollbar will disable the
freeze-status for that axis.

This has multiple strange effects. You better not:
- unfold cells within the frozen range (as of this bug)
- drag toolbars around
- expand the properties sidebar
- paste text in a multiline-cell that automatically wraps
- toggle screen resolution to duplicate output to some ancient beamer
- resize the window, e.g. pressing +

All those (and possibly more, I didn't think of) are triggers that reset
freeze-status. To top it off, the document does not get dirty by this
inadvertent change. But saving it due to other changes will persist the
unfrozen state.

On the other hand, manually freezing the cells again after such an incident
will make the document dirty and ask to save, if you try to close it.

I suggest making the freeze-state ternary:
a) disabled - nothing is frozen
b) enabled - cells are fixed
c) "temporary suspended" - the viewport is not big enough to show anything
other than the frozen rows / columns, so freezing them is obsolete, until
later, when the conditions change.

This status is to be tracked independently for both axis.

TEXT
Converts a number into text according to a given format.
Syntax
TEXT(Number; Format)
Number is the numerical value to be converted.
Format is the text which defines the format. Use decimal and thousands
separators according to the language set in the cell format.
Example
=TEXT(12.34567;"###.##") returns the text 12.35
=TEXT(12.34567;"000.00") returns the text 012.35

you are giving numbers as second argument, so such number is taken as a string
by the function to format.

Being ROUND(T3,0) = 10, ROUND(T9,0) = 60, 10 or 60 as string used to format 4
doesn't make difference.

The " (U+0022) is being changed by AutoCorrect replacing " with Swiss *-CH use
double quotes open « (U+00AB), and close » (U+00BB).

Either disable the Autocorrect for double quotes: Tools -> AutoCorrect ->
AutoCorrect Options: Localized Options tab, or specify your preferred Unicode
glyph(s) for the double quotes.

Just open LibreOffice with no document, just the blank logo, and 100% of CPU's
(FX8320). LibreOffice is unusable. Don't see any error messages on terminal.

It doesn't appear when i open a document.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Clic on The LibreOffice Logo
2.Waiting
3.See you CPU usage (100%)

Actual Results:  
Same things as above.

Expected Results:
100% CPU usage, don't stop, need to stop "soffice.bin" with a kill


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: Yes


OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
Opens normally, shows the last documents used...

Stephan: isn't "DmathsAddon%25204.6.oxt" a bit suspect?
I mean, could it be a problem of a path->url conversion? Indeed the initial
path is: "DmathsAddon 4.6.oxt"
I tried to dig a bit and found that in 
desktop/source/deployment/manager/dp_manager.cxx, sometimes we use "makeURL",
sometimes it's "makeURLAppendSysPathSegment"
Since I think to remember you had fix some nasty bugs about this kind of
conversion, thought you might be interested in this one.

More info:

1) Create a new text document.
2) Draw  a figure (a rectangle)
3) Change color of the rectangle
4) Check Document Color palette.

Results: new rectangle color not in Document color palette

Expected results: new color in document color palette

Note: Not even the default "blue" color of the rectangle is in the Doc Color
palette.

Note 2: 
Colors in Doc Colors palette are gathered from
* Paragraph style. + direct paragraph formatting
* Character style + direct chr formatting

Nte 3
Page brackground and frame area colors don't add their color to the Doc color
palette.

You can test it by adding a shape or frame or text and assigning a color to
them.

Actual result:

In (at least) Writer with a Swiss keyboard layout Shift+2 should give " symbol.
Since the last update it is not giving " but instead « symbol. I tried on two
windows computers with an English and a German GUI running and both mixed up
the characters.

1. try to type with a swiss layout shift+2 which should be the character "
2. In Writer « will appear every time

The offending TEXT example column T -W workes fine in J-O ???

The TEXT function is occasionally very sick. It gets the  and 
fields confused. Not always; it appears to get sick arround T-W columns.
The errors are hightleted.

emfplus: make VectorFormats Emf/Wmf/Svg work
make complete turn around and internal buffering
for Emf/Wmf/Svg work, including images in ODF and
re-save from UI. The correct FileType has to be
determined. It has shown that *.wmf exist that really
contain *.emf, so this turn around will not alter
the binary data, but may change the mimetype

emfplus: for convenience added fallback
For development and to not be dependent of the progress
of the coming EMF+ importer, for now add fallback to
using the old Metafile importer, plus conversion to
primitive representation. That way the whole encapsulation
is ready and can already be used

I am not talking about to change the formatting, like the position of rows or
add spaces between rows. I am talking only about the description texts.
As told, when you have table of content with many rows to edit, it is a very
uncomfortable work and it requires many clicks more, to change the texts
jumping to each marked point and then right click, etc... I think that any
common user would found it better.

I tried appimage. It was full libreoffice-still version 5.4.6.2
Same bug, same behavior.
And since i had full version i tried german, italian, french and russian
interfaces. None had the greek interface problem.

I am cloning by double clicking the cloning icon in the toolbar and
then cells TWO, THREE, FOUR, and FIVE, one after the other.

I also got this once in one my of tests.

Working on this a bit more, I managed to simplify (and hopefully
clarify) the reproducer:

 1. Open attached document
 2. Change text background of cell ONEONEONE by using the "Highlight Color"
icon in the toolbar.
 3. Clone formatting of cell ONEONEONE to cells TWO and FIVE by double
clicking the "Clone Formatting" icon in the toolbar and then clicking
on TWO and then clicking on FIVE. 
 4. Undo ()
 5. Observe how the change is reverted, but font size doubles in cell FIVE!
Another undo step reverts the font size to normal again.

libreoffice-6.0.3.1-1.1.x86_64 on openSUSE Tumbleweed.

I find that if I try to do all at once, it either has no effect OR the font
size is doubled. It will also remove the borders of the 4 cells.

If I do only 1 clone per cell, everything works as expected and there is no
undo problem (although there is no undo problem in the "all at once" method
either).

Clearly the PDF you attached has the problem, but unfortunately I cannot
reproduce it (on Windows 10). I tried 5.4.

You could try with a fresh master as it is easy to install in parallel:

Could it be something about the font used?? Because Dieter (I assume) and me do

Well, dynamic toolbars are odd. We will always run into trouble and the only
way to avoid this is a completely new UI. The alternative is to have the search
in the sidebar (there should be a ticket). Agreed with the problem but I don't

It is not clear from the summary or description, what is identical with what
exactly.

Slides in a single Impress instance cannot have identical names, except if the
file is PPTX (bug 103347).

I tested by having two Impress instances open, renaming their single slides to
have the same name and finally copying a slide from one instance to another. I
observed no problem.

Please give exact steps and number them.

Description:
I had LibreOffice 5.4.5 installed on my Win7 (x64) PC. My wife wanted a
portable version on a USB stick. So I downloaded the portable version 6.0(.2?)
and set it up on her stick. Now, the LibreOffice install on my PC doesn't work.
It is still in my Start menu, but the shortcuts are pointing to drive F instead
of E, where my install was. The uninstaller doesn't remove these traces,
because it also wants to go to drive F. Likewise, attempting a new install
won't run because it cannot find drive F either. 

Eventually I solved the removal problem by inserting a random USB stick to take
the F designation, ran the installer for 6.0.2.1, and chose remove. I then used
the same installer to reinstall LibreOffice.

It is counter-intuitive to me that putting a portable version on a stick would
wipe out the preexisting install. Why assume the stick is intended to run on
this PC? The installer should have asked before removing the old one from my
hard drive. It would also be helpful if the installer would give you an
opportunity to remove a borked install when it can't find a removable drive
that it expects would hold much of the data it is looking for, perhaps offering
a troubleshooting option rather than forcing a quit.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Perform standard windows install of LibreOffice.
2. Install LibreOffice Portable to a USB stick.
3. Remove stick and attempt to launch LibreOffice from start menu.

Actual Results:  
Initial install is destroyed.

Expected Results:
Portable version should have been created on USB stick without interfering with
original install.


Reproducible: Didn't try

3. Click File -->Click Export As -->Click Export As Epub
4. Choose Version --> Click Ok
5. Save dialog box will appear.

8. Now Open that Saved file.
9. Export is done properly, But image is not showing in EPUB Format.
10.Only text will show.
