https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=110433 --- Comment #5 from QA Administrators --- ** Please read this message in its entirety before responding ** To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 110745] [META] Galaxy icon theme issues
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=110745 --- Comment #1 from Regina Henschel --- The Galaxy icon theme is no longer included in LibreOffice but is only available as extension. https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/galaxy-icon-theme/1.0 Please contact the Design team, if you want to make an improvement to the Galaxy icon theme. Keep in mind, that the Galaxy icon theme uses 26x26 pixels icons, in contrast to all the other themes, which use 24x24 pixels icons. Besides that, there exists no SVG-source for the icons. I suggest a WONTFIX for all the Galaxy related issues. The icon theme can still be improved, but outside this issue tracker. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119054 Bug ID: 119054 Summary: FILEOPEN DOCX Paragraph style in a table appears without the set spacing below Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Keywords: filter:docx Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: kelem...@ubuntu.com Created attachment 143915 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=143915=edit Example document from Word If we insert a table in Microsoft Word and add some paragraphs into the table with text and modify the style of the paragraph from default to Heading 2, and set the below spacing 18 pt, LibreOffice will not consider it. Even if the setting of the spacing is correct in the style. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new document with Microsoft Word 2010/2013/2016 2. Insert a table with 1 cell. 3. Fill the table with some random text and empty paragraphs. 4. Select the full text and modify the style from “Normal” to “Heading 2” 5. Modify the “below paragraph” of the “Heading 2“ style from 0 pt to 18 pt. 6. Save the style and then save the document as *.docx 7. Open the file in LibreOffice Writer Actual results: The “below paragraph” of the “Heading 2“ style is correct but the paragraphs appears with wrong (still 0) spacing. The same problem appears if we export the file with LibreOffice Writer and reload it or open the exported file with Microsoft Word. Expected results: The paragraph spacing style should work even if we use them in a table. Format » Bullets and Numbering... » Customize » Character style: Numbering Symbols ... it works! :-O I don't see any visible difference between the style definition for Numbering Symbols and Bullets. It works for the following character styles: None, Numbering Symbols, Caption Characters, Definition, Drop Caps, Footnote Characters, Page Number, Index Link, Endnote Characters and Line Numbering. It does not work for the following character styles: Bullets, Placeholder, Rubies, Example, Variable, Emphasis, Internet Link, Visited Internet Link, Main Index Entry, Footnote anchor, Endnote anchor, Quotation, Source text, Strong Emphasis, User entry and Teletype. It works weird for: Vertical Numbering Symbols. Another way to make it working is by doing this: 1. New Writer document 2. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119031 --- Comment #8 from sverre48 --- I think the problem is what you suggested: Double click I use the same steps as last time, but this time no rename sheet popup... :) I do not intend to do that but for some reason it happens. If so, this bug could be closed. I experience a similar behaviour when I in win10 open pinned files and select a file (once, not opened). Some times, i.e. quite often, it complains that the file is already open albeit that I haven't intentionally opened it more than once. Then I press cancel and file opens I think these matters are related and due to some mouse config or some other client problem. I am not sure how to resolve this - although I could maybe use a different external mouse. I haven't set up any particular advanced mouse accelerator - just using the default setup - I believe. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

The other reaction, is that it is already reported. So I appreciate better follow up when new easy and obvious bugs are produced - even with three screen shots. Thus, a PDF encrypted with non-ASCII characters would be ~impossible to open on any system with different system locale. Thus, using the ASCII restriction is a good choice. I tested that encoding the password as utf-8 makes the PDF unopenablw using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2017. The problem here remains only to make this user-visible and documented. As the easiest solution for those who would like to implement this (as an easyhack), I'd propose to add to the SfxPasswordDialog a (yellow?) label saying something like "Only English letters, numbers other ASCII characters", which were hidden by default, and were made visible in the SfxPasswordDialog::AllowAsciiOnly(). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119045] New: (ODS) Charts don't load correctly if there is an extra dot in the filename of an imported CSV file (see attached files).
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119045 Bug ID: 119045 Summary: (ODS) Charts don't load correctly if there is an extra dot in the filename of an imported CSV file (see attached files). Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.0.3.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: hamis...@live.co.uk Description: This crash occurs in v6.0.3.2, but also occurred in version 5 (can't determine which version as no longer installed). My host OS is Mint 19 (based on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS). I thought this issue was where the filename had an extra dot and nothing else, but it doesn't appear to be so. I think it only occurs if you import a CSV file with an extra dot in the filename (see attached file #1), then create a chart with default settings (no customisations), and save to a file with the same name but the extension ods (see attached file). I suppose this could be a file save issue as well, but I can't diagnose any further on my own. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the attached CSV file. 2. Create a chart with standard options (click through and hit finish). 3. Save the file as ODS with the same name, except for the file extension. 4. Attempt to open the ODS file after closing Libreoffice. Actual Results: This occurs both on my desktop with a modern Intel i5-4440, and my laptop with an AMD E1-1200 APU (6 years old). In both cases, there is a massive hang with high CPU load (up to a few minutes on the laptop) before I am informed that "This file contains links to other files. Should they be updated?" If I click yes, I get the error "The following external file could not be loaded. Data linked from this file did not get updated. sump:M0-2018-07-26 07:55:20.047821" And the chart is missing. If I click no, nothing happens and the chart is missing. Expected Results: The file and chart both load quickly as normal.
