proposed fix: https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/58803/

The existing code used "nil" instead of "none". Documentation indicates these
two are identical, so I didn't attempt to change anything in that regard.
"nil" (No Border) Specifies that no border shall be applied to the current
item.
"none" (No Border) Specifies that no border shall be applied to the current
item.

Spot checks in existing unit tests provided several proof examples and
tableCurrupt.docx's header was a nice visual proof.
There are no existing tests where (|| !rStyleProps->LineWidth) affects the
other uses of impl_border, but almost every document shows it is definitely
needed for paragraphs/styles to prevent peppering the document with "nil"
borders.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119190] New: Protecting sheets removes the all cell comments in LibreOffice Calc if the file format had been given as 'xlsx'

2018-08-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119190

Bug ID: 119190
Summary: Protecting sheets removes the all cell comments in
LibreOffice Calc if the file format had been given as
'xlsx'
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.1.0.3 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: efkan_tu...@yahoo.com

Description:
Current;
LibreOffice versions: 5.1, 6.0.5.2
OS: Elementary OS 0.4.1 x64 (a derivation of Ubuntu 16.04.2)
Kernel: 4.4.0-131-generic
File saving format: *.xlsx

When I protect a sheet, the all comments I wrote on cells will be removed.

The steps to reproduce the bug:
1. open a blank sheet
2. right clik on any cell and select the command of "insert comment"
3. write down some text
4. right clik on the current sheet name from the bottom of the sheet
5. select the command of "protect sheet"
6. press on "OK" button on the dialog window (so, give a blank password)
7. save the current file with "*.xlsx" (MS Excel 2007-2019) file extension and
close Calc application
8. re-open the file

Now it can be seen that there is no any comment on any cell.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a blank sheet
2. right clik on any cell and select the command of "insert comment"
3. write down some text
4. right clik on the current sheet name from the bottom of the sheet
5. select the command of "protect sheet"
6. press on "OK" button on the dialog window (so, give a blank password)
7. save the current file with "*.xlsx" (MS Excel 2007-2019) file extension and
close Calc application
8. re-open the file
9. see that there is no any comment on any cell

Actual Results:
The all written comments have gone.

Expected Results:
The comments can be seen when mouse pointer over the cells.
On the other hand, the cells that have comments are specified by a tiny red
square at the top-left of the cells.

Reproducible: Always

** Please read this message in its entirety before responding **

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Jon,
I tested with the Gill Sans Nova fonts package which also includes a Shadowed
Light and it is listed in the dialogs as expected.
The Shadowed fonts are in their own typographic family so I would expect them
to work properly.
Tested on LO 6.1.0.3 x64 on Windows 7 x64.

I would like to test your fonts to see why they have an issue and mine do not.
Could you please send the fonts directly to my email which you should be able
to see.

It is highly unlikely the font police will show up and have an issue with our
testing to make sure their products work properly with LibreOffice.

Thanks Xisco. I suppose we should revisit optimizing this logic. It's going to
be tricky, but probably worth spending some time to find a good workaround to
avoid the cost of the Paragraph Signature RDF when not needed. I can't commit
time at the moment, but will have it in mind.

Maybe it was fixed in one version. It works for me in LO 6.1.0.2 on Win 10.
Tested with draw und writer as source and calc as source. Worked after clicking
in a cell for paste and only by choosing a cell. In both cases, the copied text
was inserted as unformated text.

I can't use CTRL-Shift-V from an external program, but CTRL-SHIFT-ALT-V is
working and if I use CTRL-Shift-V inside LO, then it offers me the dialog how
to insert the text.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119164] Untranslated menu option for Spanish (es-es)

2018-08-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119164

Yep, it seems the string went untranslated after someone modified it to add an
ellipsis, and I neglected to update the translation. Thanks for the report,
Camaleón!

@Julien: We have some guidelines to pick adequate accelerator/shortcut letters
for translated strings at [1], but in practice this is a futile effort. Most
menus have items with repeated accelerators, especially since Jay Phillips
worked in reorganizing all the menus. I have never been able to keep up with
those changes, and I reckon most maintained localizations are in the same
situation.

No using KeyId, I get "QFi68"
So it gives:
https://translations.documentfoundation.org/es/translate/#search=QFi68=source,target,notes

which indeed has no translation.
translations/source/es/officecfg/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/UI.po
  25914 #: WriterCommands.xcu
  25915 msgctxt ""
  25916 "WriterCommands.xcu\n"

  25918 "Label\n"
  25919 "value.text"
  25920 msgid "Go t~o Page..."
  25921 msgstr ""

I can add a translation like "Ir a la página..." in Pootle but we need to know
where to put "~" to enable the shortcut.

Adolfo: any thoughts?

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119183] New: Japanese fonts have huge space above and selecting such text scrolls the page up.

2018-08-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119183

Bug ID: 119183
Summary: Japanese fonts have huge space above and selecting
such text scrolls the page up.
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.1.0.3 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: medium

huge space above

It seems that Japanese text has huge space above (about 50% of the font
height). The problem is, if I scroll down the page so that the space is not
visible (see Capture2.png) and try to select the text, the document
automatically scrolls up to show the space and the whole upper page margin.

To be fair, this also happens even if the text is English, but in case of
English, the upper space is not that huge so the problem is not that obvious.

I think it is not necessary to scroll the page just because the empty space
above or a minute upper portion of the text is not visible. Too much scrolling
breaks text selecting, because I clicked the left part of the text to select
the text, but after the auto-scroll, the mouse caret no longer is above the
text but on the upper page margin, so draggin to the right does nothing.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119181] New: Fileopen: Insert box which is Back at PPTX shown in Front

2018-08-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119181

Bug ID: 119181
Summary: Fileopen: Insert box which is Back at PPTX shown in
Front
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 3.6.0.4 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: medium
 Component: Impress
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: gti...@gmail.com

Created attachment 144068
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=144068=edit
Example PPTX

Open attached PPTX.See that Insert box is shown Front. It shouldn't because
it's Back at PPTX.
Looks like implementationError when box back appeared in 3.6, not a regression.

Yup that does it for the change to the query.

Firebird and HSQL still act differently (between the original query in HSQL and
the changed query in Firebird) in that under HSQL you get an empty grid while
under firedbird it generates an error box and does not change the actual grid.

The error displayed, with FB engine, under 6.1 RC3 here is "Syntax error in SQL
statement".

That would be generated I suppose by either the SingleSelectQueryComposer or
SingleSelectQueryAnalyzer service when the filter parameter is set - it could
be worth a little time to check this with a script working against the service
provider, setting the filter parameters, via the API. Might be able to narrow
down which of those (the analyzer or composer) is throwing the error. I don't
mind working at that this evening.

Bugzilla is "issue based", so a single issue must be pointed at, after a search

This is the query, which will work under Firebird also:
SELECT "T_User".*, "T_Year"."LastSubscription" FROM "T_User" LEFT OUTER JOIN (
SELECT "UserId", MAX( "Year" ) AS "LastSubscription" FROM "T_Subscription"
GROUP BY "UserId" ) AS "T_Year" ON "T_User"."UserId" = "T_Year"."UserId"

... and if I will filter "LastSubscription" it doesn't work, too.

The query should have named the table if there is asked for all fields (*).

Tested with LO 6.1.0.3, OpenSUSE 15, 64bit rpm Linux

word length of 0, it should be fixed with the same patch on gerrit review for

Conclusion:
If text in paragraph is short enough to fit to Before Text indent minus
negative First Line, first tab will jump only to Before Text position.
In that case, right align tab will not work in ToC, it'll stay in Before Text
position instead of jumping to the right.

I don't see significant value or probability in fixing this. But explanation
would be nice.
