I looked at the code that does this and IMHO this is NAB. The 5 presets to the
right of the columns spin box are used to simply fill the widths and spacing
and columns values to the values of the presets. No record of if a preset was
used to set these values is stored. To see this, select one of the presets and
press OK then reopen the Columns dialog. The preset used to set the values is
not selected on reopen. The values set by the preset are present.

Dear Telesto,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Example of mirror by matrix in file format

The error is visible too, if the draw:transform attribute contains a matrix,
which specifies a reflection.
The attached document contains two shape, which have the same geometry. Only
that in the draw:transform attribute of the blue shape, the operation "matrix(1
0 0 -1 0cm 0cm)" was added. That results in a mirroring on the x-axis, which
is the upper edge of the page on screen.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 128691] EDITING: UI: CALCULATION: LO calc with 'CL' enabled fails simple stresstest, results only shown for top 1.000 cells in a column

2019-12-21 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128691

Believe me, I'm starting to doubt myself, question myself...

this error was reproducible in my case, and is no longer...

astonished...

the only system change in between was the installation of LO-dev 6.5.0.0.a0,
version from yesterday ... but as a server image (msiexec -a), so - actually -
nothing should be changed on the system?

all in all the recovery points since the bug report only show effects on Adobe
Reader DC, M$ print and desktop services and the newly installed LO versions,

but the other installed versions (4.1.6.2 regular (did not like msiexec -a?),
and 5.0.0.1, 6.2.8.2 and 6.4.0.0b1 all as server image) have 'lost' the bug
too!

someone knows if:

any system-wide drivers or dll's are replaced during installation? (I have seen
something about KBx flickering across the screen during some runs in the
past)

is it conceivable - yes, I know in IT the answer is always 'YES' - that e.g. by
installing 4.1.6.2 after! the other versions - after installing 6.2.8.2 4.1.6.2
was installed, OO 4.1.7 was installed and then uninstalled again - the newer
versions were somehow affected?

i'll write this one halfway hungarian and continue testing later ...

- sorry for deepl-englsh

The size of the calc-window did get so small while moving to the next monitor,
that the bug appeared.

The workaround for me is, that i adjusted the window-size for
non-maximized-mode to a bigger size, so that the window does not get so small
anymore while moving around between monitors.

Seems, that the bug does not appear anymore with this workaround.

Bug still appears, when reducing window-size to very small, like shown in the
video.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 129543] New: UI: strikethrough command has keyboard equivalent but what?

2019-12-21 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129543

Bug ID: 129543
Summary: UI: strikethrough command has keyboard equivalent but
what?
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.3.3.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: nick_levin...@yahoo.com

Description:
Accidentally, my fingers slipped on my keyboard (I don't know how) and caused a
string to get the strikethrough effect. So there's a keyboard equivalent to a
dialog option that works even when the dialog is closed. If it's unsupported,
please disable it so we don't litter our output with it. Otherwise, please tell
us what it is.

Steps to Reproduce:
Type some text. There is another step, probably some key combination, but I
don't know what it is.

Actual Results:
Accidental strikethrough.

Expected Results:
No strikethrough unless intended.

Reproducible: Didn't try

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I did not reset the UserProfile since I don't know how to check whether it
makes a difference, since I don't know what keystroke to test.

I didn't find a setting for OpenGL.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 101639] [FILEOPEN] EMF areas with dotted pattern aren't filled due to missing hatch style (=pattern) (Comment 19)

2019-12-21 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101639

I know this might seem odd, but this is sort of working. The reason that this
is a purplish background is because we are actually blending the colours to
create the hatch.

The hatch being used in the EMF is HatchStyle70Percent. According to the EMF+
specs, in actual fact this is "HatchStyle70Percent: Specifies a 70-percent
hatch, which is the ratio of foreground color to background color equal to
70:100."

Nevertheless, I wouldn't consider this fully fixed yet, because in fact we
haven't implemented any hatches other than the blending hatches.

The code in question will need to be implemented in
EmfPlusHelperData::EMFPPlusFillPolygon(). The best way of implementing it would
be as a drawinglayer 2D primitive.

Problem with the internal HSQLDB is: It will be unzipped when opening the
database And will be wrote back to the file while closing the database. If
there is any problem when closing the database the content of the database-file
wouldn't be complete.

I have written a macro for this and put it in the Base Handbook (German Version
you could get here: https://de.libreoffice.org/get-help/documentation/
If you connect the macro directly to opening of the base-file a backup will be
made automatically.

If you will use Base for professional databases I would prefer a
database-server and connect with Base to the server-database. It could be
HSQLDB, but also something like MariaDB/MySQL or PostgreSQL.

You could also connect to an external HSQLDB without using a server. The
data-file mustn't be zipped when closing the Base-file. Would be a saver
solution than the internal HSQLDB. I have described this also in the Base
Handbook.

still broken if a shared formula has #REF! problem
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 4.2 all versions
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: newbie...@gmx.de

Description:
shortest:

load attachment from next comment,
click button to provoke error,
calculate cells B2 and B3 manualy,
displayed values are wrong,

short:

A3: 3 '(any number will fit),
B3: =SUM(A2:A4)'similar formulas will fail too,
A3:B3: copy
A1:B3: paste

observe B1: '#REF!' - correct,

play with values in A1:A3, B2:B3 cut off from autocalculation - not correct,

alternative:

A1:B1 must not! be filled with the same formula,
A3:B3: copy'
A2:B4: paste

play with values in A2:A4, B2:B4 should react correctly,

long:

there have been several cases where autocalculate was broken for 'shared
formulas', delete or insert in referenced ranges, changing formulae, inserting
columns and so on,

some have been patched in the nearby past, this one remains,

i think it's already adressed in another case treating nested formulas,

may be this is the essence causing the errors there,

have fun,

merry x-mas

b.

P.S:

call me crazy ... i only want this program to become reliable again - if
possible,

bug flooding? - imho the original bug is only one, something 'bigger', more
fundamental, in the past (4.1 -> 4.2), as of now and as of how bugs are
handeled there's nothing i can do than observe and report,

forum trolls: pls. do NOT! ask if i have / had
enabled, also resetting user profile won't help,

will provide testsheet with macro to produce the error in next comment,

Steps to Reproduce:
see above

Actual Results:
cells cut off from auto recalculation

Expected Results:
all cell should be recalculated correctly in any case,

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

2019-12-21 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129429

Thank you for your feedback.
Since I don't have more questions, I put it back to UNCONFIRMED.

Did you install any LO extension? If yes, could you disable them for the test.

It could be interesting you try this:
- rename your LO directory profile (see
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#GNU.2FLinux)
(the goal is to know if it's due to something corrupted in LO profile)

then if you still reproduce this, try another rendering by following these
steps:
- open a console/terminal
- type this:
export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen
- launch Calc and try to reproduce this.
(The goal is to know if it's specific to gtk3.)

Is there any content in database/backup-file? The content of backup will be
loaded when the parameter "modified" will be changed from "no" to "yes" in

Hi,

The script file is okay. But the data file is empty!!
That is the big problem, all your data is gone forever. Thank you.

It seems this started happening before the release of 4.2. Previously, undo had
no effect at all! So I guess we are on the sunny side of history.

I tested both on Win and Linux. Testers should keep in mind the step "7a. Put
cursor to any other row".

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 129506] Copy/Paste or Cut/Paste unpredictable

2019-12-21 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129506

--- Comment #3 from andrehasek...@netscape.net ---
OK, one way or another, I overlooked bug 62196.

Differences between bugs 62196 and 129506:

- I don't agree with comment 43 of bug 62196.
- In comment 63 of bug 62196 it is stated that you should copy from anywhere
but LibreOffice. In bug 129506 I state that the problem occurs when you
Copy/Paste or Cut/Paste from within the same document.

So, although bugs 62196 and 129506 are not the same, they are similar. Since
bug 62196 exists already since 2013, it may be a good idea to solve that one
first. Once 62196 is solved I will check if 129506 is also solved. If not, I
can enter a new bug report.

Altogether, you may now mark 129506 as a duplicate of 62196.

https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/85650 seems to pass tests - it's quite simple,
but it should have quite wide effect. Also it doesn't treat MATCH etc
specially. Eike, could you please take a look if it makes sense?

As aside: regardless of this being implemented, I believe we need documentation
addition to mention (default) case-sensitivity/insensitivity for all functions
where it applies.

Copy the *.odb-file and try to repair the script-file:
If you open the *.odb-file with a packing-program (zip) you could see a folder
database and inside this folder the script-file.
Try to open this file and have a look at the entries.

The data aren't inside the script-file. But without the definition of the
tables in this file you can't have a look at the data, which will be in the
file database/data.
