[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141864] New: Enhancement: Default padding in LibreOffice Calc
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141864 Bug ID: 141864 Summary: Enhancement: Default padding in LibreOffice Calc Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.1.1.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: bima...@gmail.com Created attachment 171379 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=171379=edit description of both bugs Hello, This is my first bug submission so sorry if anything missing. I am using LibreOffice v7.1.2.2 I like to suggest two changes in LibreOffice Calc software * First Change: The default padding of cell is 0.35mm which is not looking good. I suggest you to set it default to 0.71mm so it will look good and set some space between each cell. See attached screenshot for details * Second Change: The second change is for text alignment when editing any cell. I see the text is centered in 0.71mm padding. But when I edit any cell than the text goes to top. So it's not respecting padding when editing text. Also it's not respecting alignment too. Plese see attached screenshot to understand this properly. Please let me know if you need anything else. You change the printer and the list of format becomes normal with standard size, even if you switch back to the first printer. And, the next time you display the print dialog, same thing. But, even with this strange page size associated to format, the real printing ik ok. Bug really specific to 7.0.5 version ( not present in 7.0.4 or 7.1.1). [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 104169] Change the mouse cursor icon when hovering the spreadsheet
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104169 --- Comment #16 from Sarabjot Singh --- Hi. I want to work on this bug (enhancement) but I am not completely sure about what the task is, as it currently stands. My guess is I have to follow up from Eike’s comment in gerrit about preventing the pointer from changing back to arrow on click (more precisely, after click) (Link - https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/89744/18#message-69a364293a918a9e7f67383d446ba80502bf776f). The new position of SetPointer calls are now in lines 1911, 1920 and 1951 for MouseButtonUp in sc/source/ui/view/gridwin.cxx. All of these can be changed to SetPointer( PointerStyle::FatCross ); I agree with Eike on MouseButtonDown case – it should be remain arrow. Please correct me if I am wrong somewhere. Also, to resume work from the point mesutcfc left, I see their patch can be downloaded from gerrit, but then there are multiple (five) options for that and I am not sure which one to take (sorry, I am a novice) and if there is any follow up to be done (after downloading) to get it ready to work. (I read something about cherry picking for older patches on https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/gerrit/SubmitPatch#Cherry_picking_yourself_out_of_trouble). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141859] New: Autotext-like cross-reference insertion
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141859 Bug ID: 141859 Summary: Autotext-like cross-reference insertion Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: eyalr...@gmx.com Blocks: 107905 At the moment, if you want to insert a cross-reference, you have to go through the dialog. However, many documents have unique short phrases or unique numbering for headings or numbered paragraphs (e.g. B.1.5), it should be possible to type in the referenced number, and have it converted into a reference with a key combination: * User types, for example "B.1.5" * User presses the magical shortcut key combination * LO performs the equivalent of the filtering it would perform in the Cross-references insertion dialog, with Numbered Paragraphs selected. * If the number of results is 0, nothing happens (or there is some error indication, e.g. a bell) * If there are multiple results, either nothing happens; or the text disappears and the dialog comes up with the filter already applied; or one can "scroll" through the results with subsequent presses of the shortcut; etc. * If there is a single result, the text is replaced by the reference to the numbered item, with the displayed text being the number (so that the display text will typically be the typed text). One can also conceivably have this for Headings search, where again you type in a search term like in the insertion dialog; but perhaps a different shortcut will be used, to indicate something else is being searched; and that the reference text should be the heading text rather than the number. For users working on long documents with numbered sections and many cross-references (manuals, legal briefs etc.) this would be a significant workflow improvement - allowing you to keep your typing rythm and not take your eyes off of the line. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141855] New: Saving document under new title does not change displayed document location
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141855 Bug ID: 141855 Summary: Saving document under new title does not change displayed document location Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.0.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: Mac OS X (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: framework Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: birnb...@posteo.de Description: On the Mac, a document window has a title. CMD-clicking on it reveals the document path as a vertical list. Saving a document with "save as..." under the same name to a nuew location will change the document one works on, but the displayed document location remains unchanged. The problem does not occur if the document title is changed. Behaviour was verified with Draw and Writer. Steps to Reproduce: 1. create a directory A 2. create a directory B 3. create a new LO document and save it under A/name.odt 4. use "save as..." to save the document under B/name.odt make sure the document names are identical but locations are different 5. CMD-click on the window title to reveal the document path (optional) 6. type a few words 7. save & close document 8. find out which document was changed (B/name.odt, which is correct) Actual Results: step 5: path says A/name.odt Expected Results: step 5: path says B/name.odt Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Problem appears to be there since 7.x Version: 7.1.2.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 8a45595d069ef5570103caea1b71cc9d82b2aae4 CPU threads: 6; OS: Mac OS X 10.15.7; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE Calc: threaded -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141854] New: Crash in: mergedlo.dll
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141854 Bug ID: 141854 Summary: Crash in: mergedlo.dll Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.1.2.2 release Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Base Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: ville...@t-online.de Created attachment 171373 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=171373=edit Various office documents and external hsql database with driver This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is br-522a4993-fc1c-471a-8565-adde313c9ba3. = The attached zip is a database application with Basic and Python macros bundled with an external HSQLDB and a driver. 1) Extract to a trusted folder. 2) Open the database document Todo.odb. It runs an auto-install macro which connects the database document to its database and registers the database as "Todo". After the success message, close the database document. 3) You may open the two Writer documents Macro_AutoRefresh.odt and Macro_DoneForm.odt which provide push buttons to install some Python code. You can reproduce the crash even when these macros are not installed. Just accept the error messages about missing macro code. 4) Open DONE.odt and close it. If the database connection was established, both LO 7.0 and 7.1 crash on Windows whereas a very similar document used to work on our local Windows network since LO4 until LO 6.4. I can prevent the crash when I switch the document into Edit mode and then into form design mode in order to release the database connection before closing the document. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
