Description:
I knew that this problem existed...
but I tested it...
after a crash I chose recover document and the last save will be ignored

It appears that the recovery mechanism ignores the time of the last "save"
action...

it should check whether the time of the last save (by the user) was after the
time of the last auto-recovery-save happened... 


Steps to Reproduce:
1. save the document
2. produce a crash (not easy but could be managed)
3. chose recover document (autorecovery)

Actual Results:
the last edit which was saved is ignored

Expected Results:
the last edit before the "save" (by the user) action should be present, not
reverted...

First, you did right using runDefault.sh (redirecting OFFICE_HOME and
PKG_INSTALL_DIR).
At least, that is what it was meant to be.
I really don't know what is causing the crash.  I can`t recognize any of the
error/warning messages as part of the add-on.
I would search lu1xnzh package at
~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/uno_packages/cache/uno_packages/ to see what
extension is complaining. If you can, you might disable it while testing my
app.
Alternatively, if you have an application or Calc extension of your own, you
might try to create an instance of com.example.TestCloseVeto (just like
testCloseVetoLaunch does), and register it as XDocumenrEventListener and
XCloseListener of the SpreadsheetDocument instance.

Even if this was a reasonable thing to do conceptually, I couldn't keep the
source style names, in general, for two reasons:

1. Many of them are the default/built-in style names.
2. Other are styles derived from those default styles (although perhaps that's
a different issue)

it's also not reasonable, since pasting defeats the whole purpose of a master
document, which is having links to subdocuments rather than copies of their
contents.

When printing, after inserting an envelope, the print dialog only includes that
envelope.

once.

Additionally, this issue is not present when viewing the document with 'Print
Preview'.

That's not the problem. The problem is with the inscription covering the empty
list of effects; with the boxes for category and effect etc. Have a look at the
screenshot.

But - even those are just symptoms of the fundamental problem: The problem of 
the sidebar width is set to a value which the user did not set it to, and
cannot set it to. It does not make sense for the sidebar to be visible on
startup, but set to a width below the minimum.

(In no-minimum mode - fine, whatever happens happens, it's an advanced config
option.)

As compared to the soulution by a BASIC UDF above workarounds -even if again
supported by user code- are complicated and error-prone.
There are lots of similar solutions around.
Well the minimal solution isn't eligible for array-evaluation, but this should
be another easy hack.

Why anymore talk about workarounds?

Are there stringent reasons to not create the new function?

I can't see one except the need to find a "sustainable" name which is not in
conflict with related functions of competitors where compatibility should not
be endangedered.

A conceivable alternative would be to give the SHEET() function an optional
second pparameter. If it is missing (or 0) the function works as usual. With
argument 1 in this position it returns the exact name of the sheet, with 2 the
apostrophe-written name. 
The sheet itself is given then either by a reference in the first place, or by
the 1-based index.

No, your version shows the same problem, except you don't have the little kink
in the connector. It still goes horizontally, instead of up, across and down.

Here's a version showing side by side what Microsoft Powerpoint renders (left),
versus what Libreoffice renders (right). Is this clearer?

Well, let's support making this conversion by exporting to ODF Drawing, not
just when importing with Draw. This makes sense when it's not the same person
doing the conversion and the opening: The convertor has no reason to open Draw;
while the recipient of the file should not have to be bothered with choosing
the correct application to import from.

So, "Save as ODF Drawing (.odg)" doesn't actually export to a different format.
Regardless of anything else anyone might do - it should therefore not appear as
a format option in the File | Save As... dialog. Very simple.

All other discussion is interesting/important, but should not get in the way of
fixing this bug.

I'm working on this. There are multiple underlying issues. One is a wrong
parent, one is that winaccessibility uses outdated values. With a local WIP fix
(that needs more work)  for both of these, NVDA announces at least announces
the newly focused item at first, but then still the wrong row... (always the
first one instead of the one where the focus actually is)

gtk3 works because it it using native widgets.

The problem with the sample file is that it applies an alpha matrix, which is
not supported by LibreOffice at the moment. If values="0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0

Some languages have multiple local variants, e.g. en-US, en-UK, en-ZA etc. In
fact, they may have dozens more which don't have any specific definitions. And
if such a locale is used in LO, we don't get to use various mechanisms which
are currently locale-specific with no language-level fallback. One of these is
the Thesaurus.

A recent example has been en-IL: bug 156101. That one was solved by manually
adding it as one of the locales covered by en-US.

I suggest that, as a general measure, there will be a fallback to a
language-level default thesaurus/dictionary file/fileset, so that the same
procedure need not be repeated whenever one uses an uncommon locale we have not
specifically catered to.

When one clicks a shape in the Shapes deck of the sidebar, and draws a bounding
rectangle for the shape - in some cases, the active tool goes back to something
other than drawing that shape; and in some cases, the shape remains the active
tool, and drawing a rectangle or just clicking somewhere inserts another
instance of the shape.

There are two issues here:

1. It is difficult for the user to predict when either of the cases will occur
with a press on a shape.
2. The visual indication in the sidebar - a (double) frame around the shape -
does not seem to distinguish between these two states.

I believe this should merits UI designer attention and thought.

Among other ideas, perhaps we should default to single-instantiation-always
upon the first click on the shape, and only enter "repeat insertion mode" on a
double click or second click? Similarly to how the Android's on-screen
keyboard's shift key behaves w.r.t. entering uppercase letters?

Was looking at bug 151342 and think it would improve the Animation deck if the
'Play' button were repositioned to lead edge. Currently the button is placed
after the 'Automatic Preview' checkbox, and the Play button can be shifted off
screen as the deck is narrowed (enable 'MinimumWidth' expert config).

Either drop the checkbox to the next line, or swap order to give the button
higher priority and remain visible.

Is the working 7.4.7 also packaged by LibreItalia? We had a different third
party creating the appimages before. I guess it is some conflict in what the
appimage provides vs. what you have built for your user space.

The command is now Shape - Connect.

I selected the parts by painting a selection rectangle. It selected 14 parts,
though.

I reproduce the issues A and B. Issue C is no longer possible to reach as
LibreOffice doesn't allow access to Area.

Issue A happens after 9616b786adb9491f7c26fc0f1053e7b3d1b35f27
fdo#45003 PDF import: Implementing linejoin and linecap properties

Not sure, if this can be called a regression as such.

I created bug 156190 for issue B, because we should have one report per issue.
