[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 157151] specify size of graphic objects in pixel instead of inch/cm
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157151 Mike Kaganski changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDINFO Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from Mike Kaganski --- There is no real pixel notion in the LibreOffice documents - they all operate with "paper" sizes, and object sizes *must not* change depending on the physical media - e.g., they *must not* change an apparent image size from ~3 inches to 1 inch, when showing it on non-HiDPI screen (96 PPI) vs. printing on a 300-DPI printer. If you suggest this, then it is WONTFIX IMO. Simply put the program edit cursor (what has os/DE keyboard input focus) shifts to the active component, and the sc Formula bar loses focus and stops displaing its input content. It regains it when os/DE edit cursor focus is shifted back to calc. How is this incorrect, only one component has os/DE edit cursor focus at a time--it would actually be incorrect if on shifting focus away from calc the Formula bar remained active. I am on Windows 10 and the versions tested are 6.4 on Windows 10 20H2 and 7.6 on Windows 10 22H2. I have the Draw, Calc and Writer shortcuts on the desktop and the difference is barely noticeable, it is more noticeable in the start menu. Regards. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to Start Menu 2. Pin the LO Draw icon and others 3. Observe the small difference with the rest Actual Results: The Draw icon looks slightly larger than the rest of the LO applications. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 156472] Explicitly naming programs that interfere with the installation
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156472 --- Comment #4 from Franklin Schiftan --- I have no idea, but the installer should actually know what's bothering it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 156256] Inspecting an object in the Watch Window blocks Windows
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156256 --- Comment #5 from Buovjaga --- (In reply to Albrecht Müller from comment #4) > (In reply to Buovjaga from comment #3) > > > > I added rangeToSearch into the Watch area. Can you say what I need to do in > > order to see the plus sign? > > The plus sign should appear at the left side of any variable that is not a > scalar value. I don't know if another symbol is used in other environments. > > As there is no plus sign I suspect that the variable has an empty value > because you did not run the code fragment that creates the value of this > variable. Is that correct? I did run the code, but I did not have any data in the document. > Be careful: Can you risk to damage your machine? This may happen if you > succeed to reproduce my problem. I was running in a virtual machine, which I imagine would allow me to forcefully stop the machine rather than my physical one. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 157142] New: The formula input field and the selected cell field above the top of the spreadsheet should be populated at all times when the Calc window is available for viewing
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157142 Bug ID: 157142 Summary: The formula input field and the selected cell field above the top of the spreadsheet should be populated at all times when the Calc window is available for viewing. Product: LibreOffice Version: 3.3.0 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: dreapp...@yahoo.com Description: When in Calc, the cell that the cursor is currently positioned over has its contents displayed in the formula field above the spreadsheet, and the cell identifier field has the coordinates of the cell. When a Writer window is clicked on, for whatever reason, the fields mentioned here are blanked out. Why? The fields retain their values when any other window on the display device (a browser for example) is clicked. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click a cell in the Calc spreadsheet. 2.The contents of the cell are displayed in the formula field and the cell coordinates are displayed in the field to the left of the formula field. 3.Click on some other LibreOffice window. 4.The contents of the formula field and its coordinates are wiped out. Actual Results: See "Steps to Reproduce" Expected Results: The contents of the formula field and the coordinates of the cell should still be displayed. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: The contents of the formula field and the coordinates of the cell should still be displayed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 157141] New: Text portion for content control gives empty string
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157141 Bug ID: 157141 Summary: Text portion for content control gives empty string Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mikekagan...@hotmail.com CC: vmik...@collabora.com Open attachment 189413, and use this code: sub TestContentControlImportedObjects paragraphs = thisComponent.getText().createEnumeration() para1 = paragraphs.nextElement() runs1 = para1.createEnumeration() run1 = runs1.nextElement() para2 = paragraphs.nextElement() runs2 = para2.createEnumeration() run2 = runs2.nextElement() MsgBox run1.getString() MsgBox run2.getString() MsgBox run2.ContentControl.getString() end sub The document has two paragraphs, each having a content control with a placeholder text. Because the first one is a block control (which content includes the respective paragraph), and the second is an inline control (contained in the paragraph, and the content includes only a run), these two are imported differently (as of 2023-09-07): the first one as a field, and the second one as a content control. The three MsgBox calls in the end of the code are expected to show the same "Click or tap here to enter text." string. However, the second call showing "run2.getString()" produces an empty message. This happens because lcl_CreateContentControlPortion in sw/source/core/unocore/unoportenum.cxx is called with pUnoCursor pointing to the end of the paragraph. Looks like it needs to take into account the values of rAttr (and respective SwContentControl), and pPortions, which may contain the range that should become the actual cursor. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 157140] New: Formula cell reference highlighting should be retained and updated as the formula is edited.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157140 Bug ID: 157140 Summary: Formula cell reference highlighting should be retained and updated as the formula is edited. Product: LibreOffice Version: 3.3.0 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: dreapp...@yahoo.com Description: When you click on a cell to edit it, the references to other cells in the formula are highlighted in different colors. This is excellent. However, as soon as the mouse is moved or editing of the formula starts, all the highlighting is removed. This is bad. The highlighting of referenced cells should be retained, and updated as the formula is edited. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click a cell (twice) to indicate you want to edit the contents. 2.The referenced cells in the formula of the cell to be edited are highlighted with different colors. 3.Move the cursor or type something. 4.The color highlighting disappears. Actual Results: See "Steps to Reproduce" Expected Results: The highlighting of the referenced cells should be retained and updated as the cell is edited. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: The highlighting of the referenced cells should be retained and updated as the cell is edited. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
