[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133959] Image changes position after changing anchor from paragraph to character and dragging the anchor
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133959 Justin L changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |NOTABUG Status|NEW |RESOLVED --- Comment #11 from Justin L --- Absolutely not a bug as comment 10 clearly explained. If you were moving a to-character anchor from one position in a paragraph to another position in the same paragraph, then I would agree that it is a bug. But as soon as you move to another paragraph, then the image will move. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133959] Image changes position after changing anchor from paragraph to character and dragging the anchor
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133959 sdc.bla...@youmail.dk changed: What|Removed |Added CC||sdc.bla...@youmail.dk --- Comment #10 from sdc.bla...@youmail.dk --- (In reply to Telesto from comment #0) > Actual Results: > Image moves > > Expected Results: > Shouldn't be so imo NAB. 1. Open Position and Size dialog image in attachment (before making any changes). 2. Notice: From left 6,30cm and From top 3,55 cm "to" Entire paragraph area 3. No NEED to change anchor (same effect with "To paragraph" and "To character"). 4. Drag anchor from Para 2 to Para 1. Actual result: Image moves, but no change in Position and Size dialog (i.e., still From left 6,30cm and From top 3,55 cm to Entire Paragraph Area) Why should that be expected? Because then you can change the location of the anchor, while maintaining the positioning in relation to the paragraph where the anchor is located. If you do not want the image to change position when the anchor is moved, then use the "Entire page" option for Vertical and Horizontal position. Now you can change the anchor where you like, but the position on the page will remain the same. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133959 --- Comment #9 from Buovjaga --- (In reply to Telesto from comment #7) > Disagree. Yes, the image might 'move' little up, but if you drag the anchor, > the whole image moves to the top of the page > > 1. Open the attached file > 2. Right click the image -> Change anchor to character > 3. Drag the anchor up to the first paragraph (as in screencast) > > 4. Undo everything CTRL+Z > 5. Repeat 1-2 -> This is how it should work I don't get the screencast behaviour on Windows or Linux.
