This seems like a reasonable request although it would appear to require further clarification as to whether this is possible under ODF v1.2 and what this means for interoperability (if Excel is already doing this). Would appear to either require: (a) Setting a category child element in each X axis definition e.g. it is possible to have this: ... but having a separate chart:categories element for each X-axis would allow specifying independent values. (b) Allowing data series to be attached to X-axes e.g., it is possible to have this for Y-axes: ... which again allows separate ranges to be specified for the primary / second axes. I agree it would be great if the scales could be set independently. It would seem to be compatible with ODF v1.2 but this really needs to be determined by an expert. Confirmed. Status set to NEW. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81430 Alex Thurgood changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Severity|major |enhancement Priority|medium |low Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #3 from Alex Thurgood --- Note also that the connector itslef is a non-bundled extension, i.e. a kind of external project, despite having hooks in the code tree. It is not built by default with the application code, but rather it is the distribs that build the connector as a separate add-on and then provide it in their packaging systems, so in order for this to change, it would require someone to write handling code that would allow non-indexed fields to be writable via the connector. I don't think that this is as trivial to achieve as it might first seem (although I'm not a programmer, so can not estimate the effort required). At best, this is a RFE, but whether there will ever be any takers to actually do the work is another matter. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

If you do not have the same version the checksum will be different. My md5 sum is 90a558acd73fe7e7d76133a07b2cec3b. The link is OK. It has /cmd/. Other versions would have /commandimagelist/. I have overseen, that the same link works in a Write document for you. Therefore I think, that help text and image file are correct. It seems, that there is something special in your installation. If there would be a general problem with totally missing images, we had more complains. Therefore I suggest, that you move to a mailing-list or forum to investigate the problem. A bug can only be fixed, if it is reproducible. The usual starts for investigation are: Try it with a new user profile. Try it with another language of the UI. Do you have any extensions installed? Try it without extensions. Try it in a fresh "administrative" installation. Try it on another machine. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 77336] Add option to show "Continued" over the table continued to next page
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77336 Owen Genat changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from Owen Genat --- Thanks. I agree, this is a worthwhile request. This feature does not exist in MS Office either AFAIK, so there may be interoperability issues. It may relate to the caption (generally set above a table) being modified if repeated, although I suppose an alternate implementation may simplify this (in relation to indexes only needing to pull in one entry). An example is given in this Indian TeX group presentation on longtable: http://www.tug.org.in/tutorial/chap07-scr.pdf Chicago Manual of Style (CMS) 16th Ed. §3.85 specifies this use of indicating when a table is continued and gives a basic example in Figure 3.25. Cambridge (Butcher's Copyediting) mentions this feature (briefly). Oxford Guide to Style (2002) states: "Insert a 'continued' line, such as 'Table 2 cont.', only if the table turns over to a verso page, not if it extends over facing pages." Obviously there are (as also originally pointed out) several variations, but even a basic facility would be useful. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63737 --- Comment #12 from David --- It looks like there have been some things that have changed in 4.3.0.2. It doesn't look like exporting to a pdf wants to recalculate the page formatting now if it's already been done. But in checking through the document there are many times when the footnote numbering is not correct. As an example, after the page formatting is done, on page 196, on my system, the first footnote is labeled #3 and the second one is labeled #1.
