The device itself should provide the font and not the window. - In paint method the font wasn't setup correctly which should happen before painting by calling ApplySettings. The effect of this is that print preview didn't show the correct font for the edit control and similar when you copy + paste the edit control. The work around for this is to call ApplySettings again. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 99231] Wrong formula rendering
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=99231 --- Comment #6 from Ben--- Rendering has improved in the 5.1.4.2 version, but the location of i=1 and N, below and on top of the summation sum is not correct. Both need to be centered relative to the lower and upper portion of the sigma sign and N needs to be lowered to have the same distance from the sigma sign as i=1. When using i and j as indices (see formula 2 in the attached doc) then the j seems to be in italic while the i is in normal format. See first attachment for all mentioned artifacts and an example of the formula below. Also, the format of the integral symbol seems to be strange. Maybe it has a different font than the rest of the text under the integral? [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100638] FILEOPEN Text that should be in the previous page is in the next, many line breakers etc
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100638 Regina Henschelchanged: What|Removed |Added CC||rb.hensc...@t-online.de --- Comment #1 from Regina Henschel --- It seems that some page breaks are intended to start a new chapter on a new, odd page number and the first content of the chapter as well. The document has a bad technical design, because it uses empty lines where not necessary and different fonts without need, fills the pages totally, and has no clear use of styles. The original author has used a font "ConduitITC TT", which is not installed on my PC, and likely on yours neither. So a replacement font is used, that has a different geometry. If the replacement font has a larger height, than the lines become higher and do not fit on the page. It needs a person who has installed this font, to see, whether this alone already solves the problem, or whether further import problems exists. There are some workarounds you can use: (1) Delete the superfluous lines manually. (2) Use the replacement table to exchange "ConduitITC TT" with a font, which exists on your PC and is not so high. It seems that a monospace font is desired. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97956 --- Comment #6 from 7qia0t...@sneakemail.com --- This is still a problem in 5.1.3.2 on Windows 7 64-bit. If you try to create a range like C:F in the Conditional Formatting, it accepts it, but then converts it to C1:F1048576, which is both conceptually wrong and difficult to read. If you then cut and paste rows, or Alt-Drag them up or down to organize them, the Conditional Formatting is broken into separate rules, like one for C25:F1048576,C1:F20 and a different but identical rule for C21:F24. If you Sort the rows to organize them, the brokenness doesn't happen. But we should not call it emoji. Right now I can text a message with emoji from an Android to an iOS device, and copy that into a web browser to post in a forum. Every app in the process treats the emoji as a character and handles it naively. Our gallery "emoji" would not work into this flow. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100640 V Stuart Footechanged: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDINFO CC||vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from V Stuart Foote --- Likely a profile issue, but first... When opening multiple documents on launch, if one hangs, the others will as well. First, check in Task Manager that no soffice.exe/soffice.bin continues to run-"end process tree" for any still running. Then open just one of the spread sheets allowing it to fully launch. Then launch a second. Close both, and check Task Manager--if Quckstarter is active an soffice.exe and soffice.bin will be present (personally I find Quickstarter useless, so I don't install it, and suggest it can be removed). Otherwise no soffice.exe/soffice.bin should remain. Finally, I would delete or rename your LibreOffice profile, %APPDATA%\LibreOffice, it will rebuild with defaults on next launch of LibreOffice. Launch LibreOffice once to ensure a user profile with defaults. Then restart system--do your eight spreadsheets open on restart? https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100545 --- Comment #8 from Tor Lillqvist--- Aron, the very point of the function clGetExtensionFunctionAddress() is to figure out whether some OpenCL extension function is unsupported. Besides, I doubt the backtrace is based on real debug information from the OpenCL and amdocl modules (system DLLs), but just exported symbols. OpenCL!clGetExtensionFunctionAddress+0x877 means 0x877 bytes after the exported clGetExtensionFunctionAddress, which is quite far and might quite well be in some totally unrelated, internal, function in the OpenCL module. Unfortunately the stack trace does not show anything inside LibreOffice. M, yes, the problematic file would be essential to figure out what is going on.
