On Linux Mint 19.3 installed latest version of LibreOffice 6.3.4.2. MS fonts also installed on the system at: /usr/share/fonts/truetype/msttcorefonts While working with .doc, .docx and other MS Office doccuments I can't change fonts. The fonts list is totally empty, it shows only current font in italic style, e.g. Times New Roman. Sometimes it is possible to change fonts via Paragraph Menu (Right click -> Paragraph -> Change Style -> Fonts), but it is not convenient way and sometimes even this doesn't work. I noticed that the bug appears only with GTK interface and without GTK interface everything is ok. But I prefer GTK because I can scale the icons of menu on HDR monitors. If a file already exists, things work ok--that is, I can click on the existing file name, and it will be over-written properly. It's only the text box for keyboard input that seems to be problematic. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open LibreOffice calc and open a "new file". 2. type some numbers in some cells. 3. select "Save As" and try to enter a file name in the text box. Actual Results: Text box fills itself with random characters, flickering at the end of the string as if it's getting endless input from somewhere. Expected Results: No text until I type at the keyboard, and then the text box reflects only the keys I type. It always works if you select the area to transfer, do Ctrl-C and then paste withe the mouse or anyway you choose. Its very annoying. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Select part of Calc spreadsheet and copy by left clicking with the mouse. 2.Paste in the same spreadsheet or other application and will work OK the first time. 3.Repeat the sequence and it will not transfer the spreadsheet content but a useless bitmap. It always work OK if you select with your mouse, do Ctrl-C and paste elsewhere with you mouse or anyway you with. Actual Results: Right left click part of a Calc spreadsheet with th mouse an paste it by right clicking the mouse anywhere you wish. Works OK the first time. Repeat the sequence and it transfers a bitmap. Select with the mouse do Ctrl-C and paste as before and it will allways work. (I am working under Ubuntu Linux 19.10) Expected Results: Select with the mouse, click the left button, place the mouse anywhere, click the right button and characters, numbers or else shroud always be pasted OK in another part t of the Calcc sheet or ASC character should be ported to the other application such as an ASCII o LaTeX editor. "File-Edit-View-Insert etc" toolbar crashes sometimes and these tools cannot be
accessed unless I restart LibreOffice.
Steps to Reproduce:
I can't reproduce it on purpose. It happens sometimes as I move the cursor to
the toolbar, specifically to "insert".
Actual Results:
As I said, I can't reproduce it on purpose. What happens is that the toolbar
freezes, the section I was about to collapse seems selected ("insert") and none
of the sections can be selected until I restart LibreOffice.
Expected Results:
I should have been able to select "Insert" at any time.
Reproducible: Sometimes

I found you can stretch the dialog box but if it's a long tip it becomes along box. Would be better to text wrap and then would be more useful. thank you. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select 'show tipe of the day dialog on startup from Options/general 2. Open libreoffice. (I think the dialog box opens only the first time each day) 3. see the text of the top truncated. Actual Results: the longer the tip, the more it's truncated Expected Results: truncated.
