So I would not change anything in this collection. For import and export with OOXML we use the definitions of the OOXML standard. So I would not make changes there. The problem is, that in case the shape has equal width and height and a regular hexagon (or pentagon or 5-point-star or 6-point-star) at the same time, the line of the polygon or point of the star would nor reach the edge of the shape. You can always scale these shapes so that they become regular. Do this once and put them into a Gallery theme. Or if you really want a custom-shape, that shows a regular polygon on a square area, then write your own custom-shape and put it into a Gallery theme. I can image to add a "mathematical" theme to the Gallery, which e.g. has parabola and hyperbole too. If you are not stuck on a solution with "custom-shapes", we could think of implementing the element of ODF and design its UI so, that it is easy to keep it regular. I think, here is nothing to "fix". I have this one reproducible on ArchLinux, installed from their official repos. Haven't tried reproducing on other distros. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open clean new Document 2. At the end of the page insert 2 x 1 table (2 columns and 1 row [Important!]) 3. Put cursor in one of the cells and hit Enter until it spans down to the next page 4. Then hit Alter + Arrow Up key combination Actual Results: Writer crashed Expected Results: At least, not to crash. Source cells are emptied. Actual: Yes (no key on windows) Command key: Cells are copied and overwrite the cells in the target area. Source cells stay as they are. Actual: Can't hold cmd+click at the same time, only seem to be selecting the cell. If holding cmd while dropping, same result as no key (ctrl key on windows) Command+Shift keys Links to the source cells are inserted and overwrite the cells in the target area. Source cells stay as they are. Actual: Same as above Workaround: ctrl key achieves the described result! (ctrl+shift on windows) Option key Cells are moved and shift the cells in the target area to the right or to the bottom. Source cells are emptied, except if you move within the same rows on the same sheet. If you move within the same rows on the same sheet, the cells in the target area shift to the right, and then the whole row shifts to fill the source area. Actual: Yes, but source cells are never emptied (not able to get this on Windows, possibly due to VMware) Option+Command keys Cells are copied and shift the cells in the target area to the right or to the bottom. Source cells stay as they are. Actual: Yes, but that is same behavior as without shift Option+Command+Shift keys Links to the source cells are inserted and shift the cells in the target area to the right or to the bottom. Source cells stay as they are.
