Well, actually a zSeries eServer. Sorry, but an eServer zSeries (sequence is important). You would be amazed (well probably not) by how often people get our brand names wrong. I see zServer, z-Series, Zseries, etc. All IBM trademarks are at http://www.ibm.com/legal/copytrade.shtml Also, it is Linux on zSeries not z/Linux or zLinux. zLinux is a trademark of Turbolinux. Linux on zSeries is too wordy. We need a shorter version, such as Lonz, Linonz, or some such. -Original Message- From: Linux on 390 Port [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Jim Elliott Sent: Tuesday, April 13, 2004 9:59 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [LINUX-390] Interesting article on zLinux on groklaw Well, actually a zSeries eServer. Hall, Ken (IDS ECCS) wrote: Linux on zSeries is too wordy. We need a shorter version, such as Lonz, Linonz, or some such. At the risk of taking this too serious, I'm not sure it is such a problem. In most cases it is just Linux. If the hardware platform is relevant to the statement, then probably z/VM is too, so even Linux on zSeries would be too vague. And then there's the difference whether you're into a few big SAP servers or lots of small servers on z/VM.
