SHARE Providence - Request for Chairs

2017-06-26 Thread John Crossno
You know... The sooner these empty session chair slots become occupied with
volunteers, the sooner these emails will cease. Yes, we are still looking
for some of you who will be attending SHARE in Providence, to step up and
offer a little of your time to help your peers who are presenting, by
chairing their session(s). If you haven't chaired a session before, it's
easy, and I'm happy to walk you through it. If you have chaired sessions
before, you know. Please feel free to pick from the list below. Just send
me the session ID, and I'll confirm the slot(s) you've chosen.

Thanks!
John

2017-06-26 Thread Marcy Cortes
One thing I haven't figured out in SLES 12 systemd system is how to boot into
single user mode (rescue.target)?
On sles 11, I just did a #cp vi vmsg 1 1

Anyone know?

You should be able to do this:
IPL devno PARM S

There are systemd specific parms you can pass, but I find this much easier to
remember.
