You can find pretty reliable RPMs of Win32 codecs and mplayer at: http://rpm.greysector.net/mplayer/ (MPlayer's download page points there) Problem - the mplayer-codecs package from that site is codecs only for mplayer. audit files
Hi guys, Is there a way to audit the vfs layer to know how many bytes are written/read to/from identified files ? cause I use LVM an iostat just give me statistics for the ide disk and not for the logical volume. Record from TV (saa7134)
Hi, I would like to have a cron job to record a TV program using my saa7134 card. I have mencoder and ffmpeg installed (and may install other software as needed). I do not require high quality, but the recording must be feasible in real time and the A-V must be syncronized. A later compression thread my be run if needed. I'm running on an Intel P4 2.8Ghz with hyperthreading. What I am using up to now is: ffmpeg -f avi -vcodec mpeg4 -acodec mp3 -s 4cif -qscale 10 This gives very low quality, and starts to lose A-V sync after several minutes (due to lag, I guess). Any recommendations?
