PS: FAT32 is also good to share data on Linux machines, between different user IDs. If you really want to temporarily store xattrs and privileges you could use a tar archive on the FAT32 formatted USB stick. -- Lubuntu-users mailing list Lubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/lubuntu-users

I am sure others will correct me and or comment further. So please don't take the above at face value, we need more expert input on this . [lubuntu-users] USB flash drive filesystem
Hi, I bought a USB flash drive and was wondering what filesystem I should be using on it. I think it is formatted as exFAT but am not sure. Any ideas? Thanks :) Ian -- -- ACCU - Professionalism in programming - http://www.accu.org -- My writing - https://sites.google.com/site/ianbruntlett/ -- Free Software page - https://sites.google.com/site/ianbruntlett/home/free-software -- Lubuntu-users mailing list Lubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/lubuntu-users
