Re: Inserting C++ code
Hi Sajjad, This reminds me of Bob's solution for Matlab2tex. Maybe you can use his trick for C++. see http://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-users@lists.lyx.org/msg73865.html I would like to hear how you solved it. xfig figure inclusion in lyx 1.5.7
Hi, I am using lyx1.5.7 on windows XP. I want to have a figure with greek symbols, so I tried including xfig file directly as external document. The problem is when I try and compile it gives:- An error occurred whilst running python -tt C:/program Files/LyX15/Resource/scrip on clicking the ok option message appears:- An empty file was generated then it says:- Latex Error File 1D_Work_Presentation_Fig_ch12.pstex_t not found. It is to be noted that I am including file ch12.fig while is in D:/Work/Presentation/Fig. Any help will be deeply appreciated. Regards Subir

forward search?
Hello, I have set up the reverse DVI/PDF search feature. However, I would like to do the opposite: forward search (indicate the same position in the DVI/PDF as where is the cursor in the LyX document). Is it a mean to associate a key combination to trigger it? I could work with the lyx server, but I miss a function that indicates me the line in the tex file corresponding to the position of the cursor in LyX. I imagine that such information could be accessible, since server-goto-file-row is capable of doing the opposite (from Tex line to LyX line). In case this function does not exists, would it be possible to develop it for next LyX version? Thanks, Philippe -- ..<°}))>< ) ) ) ) ) ( ( ( ( (Prof. Philippe Grosjean ) ) ) ) ) ( ( ( ( (Numerical Ecology of Aquatic Systems ) ) ) ) ) Mons-Hainaut University, Belgium ( ( ( ( ( ..

Generally, it's easy to access the desired information (via buffer().texrow().getRowFromIdPos), the question is how to communicate it to the viewer. What is the syntax of forward search? I guess it does (as with reverse search) differ between viewers? Jürgen
