nomenclature warning

2012-11-13 Thread Wolfgang Engelmann
After having spent quite some time to fix a problem with nomenclature, I
thought to give a warning:

I generated a list of abbreviations in my LyX document using
ListTocNomenclature

and got stuck while trying to produce a pdf file with
LaTeX Error: Lonely \item--perhaps a missing list environment

It turned out that one of the abbreviations was defined twice.

To avoid this (in case of long documents with many abbreviations and a bad
short term memory) I recommend to check the pdf file for double definition in
case of doubt.

What version of LyX are you using? Can you post the simplest possible

Not needed, this is bug http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/5702. He sent the
same mail privately to me on october 23rd, and I already answered. If I had

In latex the hyperendnotes.sty works, but not in lyx.

See the attached files. Maybe someone could shed a light, whats going
wrong in Lyx?

The .sty file is located in /Users/myuser/Library/texmf/tex/latex and

This is the section from the error.log where the .sty file is

Any hint/ suggestion would be appreciated.
