Problem with citations (author?)

Hi everyone,

When I try to add a citation I get see for instance (author?) [1, 3, 5].

How can I fix this?

Hi,

You are using the bibliography style plain, which is intended for use 
with the default (and limited) citation capabilities of LaTeX; for full 
natbib support you should use plainnat (or any other ...nat 
variant). This is changed in the settings for the BibTeX bibliography inset.

processor (so  thank you for your work)

I'm starting to write a paper that must be submitted in PDF format and
conform to ACM SIG Proceedings specifications. Specifically I have to follow
these templates available for Word, Word Perfect and LaTeX2e.

How I can use Lyx for my purpose?
Can you help me to getting started ?

P.S. I already have read some tutorials about Lyx.

Maybe this thread has some informations about my problems but I haven't

I created a table using LyX, but the formatting is wrong.

If you look at the pdf the table is too long for the page, I need the first
column, and the title of the third, to use multiple lines so the table fit
well in the page. How can I do this?

In LyX, go to File  New From Template
Then select ACM-sigplan.lyx or ACM-SIGS.lyx

I'm having the same issue - it is caused by lack of grouping for that
particular slide. It seems the  frame environment need to encompass the
contents of the frame (you will see vertical grouping line on the left
side), otherwise the contents go to the next slide.

The problem is, when I make a new frame, I don't get that grouping - I have
been reusing (copy  paste) previous frames with the grouping.

Should have read the manual first :) Look for Help - Specific Manuals -
Beamer Presentations.  There is an explanation about nesting.
