Here some more what I did - and it worsened:

- deinstall of beta3, delete lyx2.0-folder in registry, reinstall = no

Does that mean the problem depends on MikTeX as Pavel suggested in the

inserting a matrix in math mode with the matrix menu does not accept if

hyperref to pdf: path format?

2011-01-10 Thread Jannick Asmus

Hi,

I want to use a hyperlink in a PDF output to a file on my hard drive.
Using the hyperlink menu in LyX , what path format should be used to
make that work?

Not working is the path, e.g., H:\folder\file.pdf - translated to
texcode this appears as

\footnote{\href{file:H:\%5Cfolder\%5Cfile.pdf}{H:\textbackslash{}folder\textbackslash{}file.pdf}%
}

Anything wrong with my path format as input?

Working with LyX2.0b1 on WinVista.

I did, even with multiple slashes and backslashes. I suspect that it is
not properly translated to texcode.

It would be nice for any user, if the path could be entered into the
menu - and everything is done. but I am curious to see how it can be
done (with the current LyX beta version)

inserting a matrix in math mode with the matrix menu does not accept if

Is this a bug?

hyperref to pdf: path format?

Hi,

I want to use a hyperlink in a PDF output to a file on my hard drive.
Using the hyperlink menu in LyX , what path format should be used to
make that work?

Not working is the path, e.g., H:\folder\file.pdf - translated to
texcode this appears as

\footnote{\href{file:H:\%5Cfolder\%5Cfile.pdf}{H:\textbackslash{}folder\textbackslash{}file.pdf}%
}

LyX 2.0: spreadsheet

Opening the lyx 2.0file (downloaded from

the file be readable - or is an upgrade to beta2 needed here? The latter
idea comes to my mind since there is no item Gnumericspreadsheet in

It doesn't seem to be as easy as I expected it to be. Unfortunately the

AW: [sweave] additional LaTeX package needed, but which one?

2010-11-30 Thread Jannick Asmus

Liviu Andronic wrote:

I'm surprised that LyX 2.0 ships an *sweave* beamer template.

I have just double-checked: It seems to me that I must have simply taken
a copy out of the version 1.6.8 template folder which I have saved
somewhere on my hard drive.

LyX prompts that sweave needs an additional LaTeX package not
installed by MikTeX. How can I find out which package is missing?

If you load the sweave module, it might be that LyX cannot find
Sweave.sty. As a hack, you might want to copy this file from the R
installation to the dir of your LyX file.

To be honest I do not have any R installed. In my MikTeX folder there is
no sweave.sty-file.

In LyX I have just loaded the template beamer-sweave-template.lyx with
the prompted error that some module is missing in the LaTeX
installation. Isn't is possible to have a feature implemented to look
for the missing LaTeX part?
