i tried Lyx for Aqua and i really impressed ! Great job Ron !!! Thank 
you for this port.

But there i have one question. My lyx version under X11 has German 
menus etc, the Aqua version does not. Is this a bug/feature or have i 
to do something else to get German menus ?

building lyx1.2.1 on MacOSX

Hi,

i use MacOSX 10.2.2 an tried to build lyx. I uses fink to install the 
xforms library (version 0.89-2). Then i downloaded the lyx1.2.1 source 
from the lyx.org website. Now the ./configure script does not find the 
xforms-library files and headers, because they are in /sw/lib and 
/sw/include. How can i tell ./configure to use these path's also ?

is it possible to change the fontsize in all tables in a document from 
normal to klein2. It is a big work to do this in the whole document withe 
selecting the text and then change the size by hand.

Iam writing on my Diploma Thesis using Lyx 1.1.6fix4. After playing a bit 
around with the settings for page width etc. I get no more ps output. The dvi 
still looks ok and is displayed. No errors while the latex run. A ps2pdf on 
the generated postscript gives an empty pdf.

Any ideas ?

i solved the Problem with a little shell script:

#!/bin/sh

kdvi $3 

and thats all !
I named this kdvi2 and changed my lyxrc that it now use kdvi2 instead of
kdvi. The bad thing is, that the new kdvi seems to have problems with
eps-figures ...

today I have installed the brand new KDE2. The new kdvi - viewer seems to not 
understand the "-paper" option, which is send by lyx to the viewer-app.  Kdvi 
fails to show the dvi-preview.

kdvi-Problem

Hi,

today I have installed the brand new KDE2. The new kdvi - viewer seems to not 
understand the "-paper" option, which is send by lyx to the viewer-app.  Kdvi 
fails to show the dvi-preview.
Has somebody an idea, how to get lyx to work with the kde2-dvi-viewer ?

Maple Style

Hello,

i have to include some code from the CAS Maple in my thesis. Some latex style
files (maple.sty , ...) are supplied with this software. I have trouble to get
this things working. I copied the *.sty files somwhere in the tetex
directory-tree (e.g. into /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/misc/) but latex can not
find this files.

Is there a way to use this styles in Lyx (May be with the "usepackage" command
in the latex-preamble)?

Figure Float Bug (?)

Hi Folk !

I use Lyx 1.04 (Sep. 29 1999) I always have trouble if i want include some
diagramms (eps format) in float enviroment. 
If i scale down the pics, that 2 of them fits on one page they overlap. This
also happens with normal text. I have made a example file for demonstration. Is
this a Lyx bug or is it somthing that depends on latex ?
