Try to install 'apt-file' package. Then initialize it with
$ apt-file update
Now you are able to search for packages like
$ apt-file find scrbook.cls
==> texlive-latex-recommended:
/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/tex/latex/koma-script/scrbook.cls
texlive-publishers:
/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/tex/latex/tudscr/tudscrbook.cls
So, you have to install
$ sudo apt-get install texlive-latex-recommended
This is on ubuntu 16.04, but it should work the same on ubuntu 18.04
