Thanks. I have played a little with the "book" class, but still get the same
result. Maybe I have chosen a non suitable style. Which bib-style do you use?
NatBib on/off? Just seed something apa-like for social science.

Janus,

Put that string inside braces; e.g., {GM}. The braces will maintain the
literal string inside them. These braces are in addition to the pair that
encloses the complete title.

Hi

Firstly the problem of putting "The Danish Board of Techonology"

I think maybe you are using the wrong refernce type. If you use article
and

put "the Danish..." as the author then yes you will get the abbreviation.
You could try using "book" and then putting "The Danish..." as publisher.
Have a play with the various types - it is very easy in JabRef.

As for the capitals, I think, certainly on my machine, that the titles
should be as typed so ensure you are putting them into JabRef with the
correct capital/non setup.

I have attached a pdf which shows my bibliography - Ref [37] is a book
with
capitals in the title (VUV) and ref [35] is also a book showing where if
you
had "The Danish" rather than "Cambridge..." you could sort that
problem.

Hope all this is clear.

One more BibTex question

2005-06-21 Thread Janus Sandsgaard
Oh, I forgot:

In my bibliography I always get the titles in lowercase letters (e.g.
"New gm crops - new debate"). This is the way it should be in most cases, but
sometimes I need to be able to have a title like: "New GM crops - new
debate".

How do I do that? I am sure there is some kind of tag that tells BiBtex to
respect "GM" etc.
