Re: Win 32 QT version - Reconfigure

2003-07-30 Thread Philip A. Viton
Have you tried running the reconfigure script (configure.bat) from a dos
session? That's likely to be more informative. (I had a problem with this
under win2k, which I think had to do with win2k on a 128MB ram machine. I
switched shells --- bash.exe renamed sh.exe + cygwin1.dll from the cygwin
distribution --- and it ran ok).

Win 32 QT version - Reconfigure

2003-07-29 Thread Rob Saunders
Dear list

I have installed Ruurd's port for lyx (qt) on a number of windows based
machines and have arrived at a number of different problems (strangely
not all problems shared by all computers). None of the problems are
life threatening but perhaps someone can come up with some
explanations as to the behaviour I'm finding.

I'll post them as separate mails to help archive searches.

1.

My office Pc (OS - XP pro) has a fully working cygwin lyx1.3.1 without
probs. I have installed the qt version separately direct into its own
folder on root directory. C:\blah\lyx. I have a fully updated MikTex
installed.

Problem - I cannot get the Edit - Reconfigure to work. No reconfigure
script runs (as it does on a similar XP pro setup elsewhere).

I've installed twice, but still the problem persists.

Regards

Rob
