Re: [M100] Back in the hospital yet again
Gee golly, Ken, get that sucker fixed. I had a series of angina attacks in, I think 2002, none really severe, that went away after a few minutes. Then one day it did not quit. No real pain, just discomfort. No breathing problems, just an uncomfortable feeling after a little exercise, like carrying luggage up the steps into a train. Went to the hospital, the next day had an angiogram, angioplasty, and stent insertion. I watched it on the monitor. Since then no problems, my Cardiologist checks me each year and says 'you are good to go." Good luck! Go for it and I have you in my prayers. Jim Farley JIM FARLEY, KG4FXV P. O. Re: [M100] In the hospital
Good luck, Ken. I have you in my prayers. I had a similar adventure back in 2004. I had a little pain in my left upper arm (I thought at first it was from lifting luggage for Linda and me onto the Amtrack trains on a trip). At the local hospital, they could not find anything wrong, but the cardiologist wanted to take me to Emory Midtown (Atlanta) and on Monday morning I got the angiogram/angioplasty/stent procedures in an artery in the back of my heart. I've been running hard since and I'm 82 now and feeling fine. The current medical care is great and still improving. I'm sure you will do fine. Just let us know when you get out. After the angiogram yesterday, the Dr. told me I need bypass surgery, which they will schedule for sometime early next week. I'm still hanging out here while waiting, which is kinda why I have time to send emails on the list :) Just wanted everyone to know in case things don't go well and you never hear from me again, at least you will know what happened. Only a small chance of that though ... they do a LOT of open heart surgery per day here (successfully), so they are pretty good at it. Ken
Re: [M100] Dust Covers
Back in the 'old days', the late 1970s thru early 1990s, at the telcom company for which I worked, we used translucent plastic computer covers which would protect the computer/terminal if the overhead sprinklers went off. I don't remember dust being a major concern. Jim Farley

[M100] 2016 Pi Day
Tomorrow, Monday, being Pi Day, I suppose that it is precisely at 0159 (1:59 A.M.). Is that correct, Ron Weisen? Or does the '0' mess it up? Jim Farley, KG4FXV

Sounds like a job for a 3-D scanner and a 3-D printer.
