Re: [M100] CRT not working with DVI anymore.

The DVI uses separate inputs, one for the composite and one for the RF. The
switch is to select channel 3 or 4 on the RF input. I’ve cleaned the inputs.
I’d say that’s not it, I was hoping that was it a week ago that’s when I
cleaned the inputs. I’d love to try the RF input but I no longer have an
analog TV set and RF converter.

Any chance it's a little oxidation on the RF/composite selector switch?

Using a Commodore 1084S monitor. Monitor works perfect with several other
systems in composite mode. It use to work with my Model 100 DVI but started
sometimes not coming on and now only comes on about one in ten tries. When it
work it works perfect except I’ve seen it go out after about an hour several
times?

Anyone got a starting point for me to check? I did add a 2nd drive and this
issues started slowly after but is getting worse. Might the old power supply
not be up to my additional drive?

Thanks,
William

You were correct. I put a meter between the chip and the contacts and one was
dead. One of the pins in the option rom socket was not fully deployed. The
other rom’s I’ve used were able to connect but the REX could not. After
pulling the pin out to it’s correct location it work perfect.

Thanks for the heads up on that issue.
