Red Laser finds bar codes on cans and boxes just fine, but its database is sorely lacking for those of us in continental Europe. Digit-Eyes, on the other hand, has a very extensive database. Hi All, I downloaded a free app called Red Laser with my iPhone. This is a QR code scanner, and it reads these squiggly symbols that give you information, and can take you to a web site. I tried it on a tube of tooth paste, and it not only told me what it is, but it gave me pricing for my area.
