Corel hasn't had it on their site for ages, but it's out there on the web. There's a ton of document templates and other files for it, I downloaded them all from Corel before they got rid of them. What you can't use WP 3.5e for is HTML. It can create an HTML document with formatting etc, but you better get it right the first time. I tried a simple page with some tables, saved it then later when I re-loaded the document all the formatting was trashed. It opened fine in any web browser, but WP couldn't read what it had just saved a few minutes before. For everything else it can do, it's fine. It will be total Fandemonium! Microsoft Word
My college-age daughter was trying to prepare a report using a template in Microsoft Word. She typed a couple of paragraphs, and suddenly word crashed with fatal errors. She was somehow able to recover what had been typed, but when she tried to save it, it again crashed with fatal errors. She tried to create a new document with the same results. I am a Mac person, and I know if I had this problem with my Mac, I would suspect a corruption in the application. I would uninstall the program and all it's components, and reinstall. Is this the proper procedure with a PC (running XP)? If not, what needs to be done to fix this problem? Obviously, she needs MS word to prepare papers for school.
