You're right - I realized after that it had just been bumped. But I noticed
the new version built as well without trouble.

Ken

$ port -v installed smake cdrtools

The following ports are currently installed:

  cdrtools @3.00_1 platform='darwin 10' archs='x86_64'
date='2017-09-02T11:22:23-0700'

  cdrtools @3.01_0 (active) platform='darwin 10' archs='x86_64'

  smake @1.2.3_0 platform='darwin 10' archs='x86_64'

  smake @1.2.5_0 (active) platform='darwin 10' archs='x86_64'

Re: smake@1.2.5 fails to build on Snow Leopard

2017-09-02 Thread Richard L. Hamilton
That's not the latest cdrtools - that one had worked for me too, when it came
out probably a couple of months ago.
myeye:~ root# port -v installed cdrtools
The following ports are currently installed:
  cdrtools @3.00_1 (active) platform='darwin 10' archs='x86_64'
date='2017-06-21T15:32:20-0400'
myeye:~ root# port list cdrtools
cdrtools   @3.01   sysutils/cdrtools
myeye:~ root#

@3.01 is what won't install (for me) with smake @1.2.3_0.

2017-09-02 Thread Ken Cunningham
Works for me on 10.6. Sorry.

$ port -v installed smake
The following ports are currently installed:
  smake @1.2.3_0 (active) platform='darwin 10' archs='x86_64'
date='2017-09-02T11:13:10-0700'

$ port -v installed cdrtools
The following ports are currently installed:
  cdrtools @3.00_1 (active) platform='darwin 10' archs='x86_64'
date='2017-09-02T11:22:23-0700'

Perhaps open a ticket so we can sort out what's going on over time.

Ken

smake@1.2.5 fails to build on Snow Leopard

2017-09-02 Thread Richard L. Hamilton
I suspect the absence of the latest smake may also cause the failure of the
latest cdrtools to build (since building it uses smake, and IIRC they're both
from the same author); but until I can get the latest smake built, I won't know
for sure. :-)

You explained not long ago that everything is handled on a best-effort basis.
Still, I think, you could have a role for new submissions and update requests
that's assigned amongst commiters. Or am I reaching?
