Im+ Pro
I purchased Im+ Pro last night after having spare credit in my iTunes account, and so far I like it a lot. We are at version 6.x now, so don't know what has improved since 4.x or 5.x. But on the whole, the app runs excellent on both my iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4, both running iOS 5.1. No lagging whatsoever. Haven't tried the voice features yet, but will report back if it still crashes. I also haven't tried navigating the text fields in the chat window, but will again report back if I see any problems. Overall I love this app and would highly recommend it if you fancy chatting on the go. Doesn't seem to drain the battery all that much, however I don't have the app running all the time; I rely on the push notifications instead -- Christopher H -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MacVisionaries group. Using JAWS and the Focus Braille Display with Windows 7 and VMWare Fusion
Hello everyone. Although I do most of my work on the MAC OS Lion 10.7.2 OS, I sometimes work in Windows for professional Reasons. I just finished developing some training material for JAWS and the Focus Braille Display. When I plug the focus in and connect it to VMWare Fusion and attempt to load JAWS with the Braille display connected, I get the message that JAWS cannot load the driver. Of course, Freedom Scientific Technical support is of absolutely no help since I'm running JAWS in a Virtual Machine. Have any of you tried this and have gotten it to work? Any help is appreciated. Thanks so much. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MacVisionaries group. To post to this group, send email to macvisionaries@googlegroups.com. uninstalling soft wear?
Okay, got a new canon printer, and wanted to use it on both my mac and windows side, but ever since I let the mac side download and install soft wear, it won't work on the windows side. problem typing Chinese after 10.7.3 update
Hi, Wondering if anyone using Chinese is having the same problem I am having. After the 10.7.3 Lion update, I can no longer type in Chinese Traditional Pin-Yin. It used to be that when you start typing, a list will popup letting you choose the correct character. When you are in this list, you use up or down arrow keys to scroll through the list. When you find the correct character, press the space bar to select it. You will then be back in your document to continue typing. With the new update, I start typing, the list pops up, I can arrow up or down, but the space bar no longer selects the list. Return doesn't work either. And here's the kicker. If you move away from the popup list, you will not be able to go back to it. The Chinese Traditional window will be on your screen, and you can find it with the Application Chooser, but you will not be able to focus on it. XCode
Hi, I'm trying to find a good editor for PHP programming, HTML, CSS, etc. Dashcode seems to not support PHP very well. I was looking at XCode, but was wondering about its accessibility. I searched for this in the group but didn't find much. The problem I'm having is that when I start typing a keyword, it pops up suggestions, but if I press anything else, it takes me a good page of code above where I was, if not more. So it doesn't seem to be working very well. Do you know of any other good editors for PHP? I'm not having very good success with this. RE: Quick VMware question
Hi. Thanks for the help. I must be missing something though. Currently I am using a PC keyboard on my Mac, and I used the Mac's keyboard layout to swap the two keys on my PC keyboard so that the alt key is the Mac command key and the PC Windows key is the Mac's Option Key. I can't seem to find the right combinations to change these back to their proper PC usage during a VM ware session so that what is now the Mac's Option key becomes the Windows Key and what is now the Mac's command key turns into the Alt Key. No matter how I try to remap them I keep coming back with the PC's alt key calling up the Windows Menu and the Windows Key F combination calling up the file menu. I have tried remapping several ways, and also restarted the VM machine after resetting. Any further help would be greatly appreciated. Stop interacting, then vo right until you hear VO say map certain combinations on your machine etc and then follow the instructions.
