2017-01-05 Thread 'Roland Zitzke' via MacVisionaries
Helga,
I have seen similar issues with the log-in screen. Which audio interface
are you using, the built-in speaker / headphone or an external one? If this
problem ever occurs again you may want to try changing the audio output.
Alternatively, you can try to quit VO by pressing CMD+F5, wait for 10
seconds and then pressing the same key combination again.
I suspect you have a timing issue somewhere in the audio path around
CoreAudio.
Hope this is of any help

2017-01-05 Thread Ryan Mann
If you have the email message open, interact with it by hitting Vo Shift Down
arrow.
Then VO Down arrow to the event.
VO Space on it. If I remember right, that will bring up a menu that will give
you the option to open the event.

Amadeus Pro purchase site.

2017-01-05 Thread Anders Holmberg
Hi!
I am about to purchase Amadeus Pro but am wondering about the payment methods
radiobuttons.
3 of the radiobuttons are unlabled and only the 4th button is labled bank
transaction.
But what are the 3 first.
I want to pay directly on my card if i can.
Bank transactions takes longer from Sweden as we have a holiday tomorrow so i
guess the license key wont come until the payment goes through.
If anyone can help me out i’ll be thankful.
Blessings!

Re: Verizon versus AT, new phone and questions.

2017-01-05 Thread Kawal Gucukoglu
I too care about people on this list especially those who get nasty messages on
this list and expect the moderator to do something about it even though he does
as he did say that we should all behave ourselves like adults.

I hope this year we all show respect towards each other and accept when someone
might disagree with us as debate would not be debate if we all had the same
view. Wouldn't life be boring. There would be nothing to say. So please
disagree with each other and let's all be happyas there is enough problems in
this world. We are all very lucky as we don't have to put up with wars, the
lack of food and best of all, I hope if we have friends on this list, we can
all support each other on and off list.

Re: skype and ios weirdness

2017-01-05 Thread Douglas Lawlor
I can't seem to make a call to a land line number either. Everytime I try I am
presented with a stupid message wanting me to invite the contact to get on
Skype.
How can I get around this?

Thanks,
Doug

Accessing tidal music service on the Mac

2017-01-05 Thread Mary Otten
I seem to recall someone mentioning that you could access the TIDAL music
service running a Mac. I think there were using a third-party app to make that
happen, but I don't remember what it was. Can anyone refresh my memory? I'm
interested in this because of the recent announcement that master quality audio
is now available on TIDAL for some albums.
Mary

 Sorry Scott.

I didn't mean to spread bad info. BTW, since you are the God of Verizon,
and since you know everything about them and apparently work with them,
how bout your badge rep ID number? Or, are you not prideful enough to give
such info. This should be nothing you're nor any other Verizon God would
be unwilling to provide, so what is it, Hare Crishna? Do I need to do a
Puja to get Shiva to destroy your attitude toward me? There are 108
reasons why I'd stop now, Scott, while you can.
