Re: Can someone refresh me on Drag and Drop?
Hi, What's likely happening here is related to sorting. If your playlist is set to be sorted by some other parameter, such as Artist or Song Title, then dragging and dropping will not be permitted. Therefore, you must first sort things in the playlist by the Status column by pressing VO-shift-back slash, navigating to the Status column header, then press VO-space. Press VO-shift-back slash to take focus back out of the Header area. Now that items in the playlist are sorted by the Status column, you are able to custom sort items in the order you wish by using the old Drag & Drop method. That is, navigate to the song you wish to move, press VO-cmd-f5 to ensure that VO and mouse focus are synced, press VO-cmd-shift-space which announces "Mouse Down". Navigate to your desired location for dropping, press VO-cmd-f5 to sync focus again, then VO-cmd-shift-space to drop it. I can't recall whether it drops before or after, or if that depends on whether you're navigating up or down, so you may need to experiment some. It does work though. Later... Yes, both locations should be visible on the screen. Note: I have not created playlists. My partner does that because she loves music. I merely enjoy her efforts. google drive
Hello All: I am sure this has been covered before but does anyone have advice about using google drive? I downloaded the app which didn’t solve anything. How to open a document would be a good beginning. Off list responses are fine and much appreciated. Jean . follow up on editing playlist
Hi all, Just in case anyone else wonders about this. I had no luck editing the playlist on my Mac, so have sent an inquiry to Accessibility. However, I was able to make the desired edits on my phone, which then synced the playlist with iTunes on my Mac. From what I can tell, that is the only way to do this. Can someone refresh me on Drag and Drop?
Hi all, So this is what I am doing. 1. Going to the song I want to drag. 2. Pressing VO Comma. VO says that the song is marked for drag and Drop. 3. Press VO Period. The whirring sound starts, and VO says it is dragging the song. That's where I get stuck. I thought that VO Comma was supposed to initiate the drag, and VO Period the drop, but that isn't what is happening. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Re: moving a song in an iTunes playlist
I would expect that the mark for drag and drag before commands should work for this, if not, then we should hammer accessibility support with requests to get it to work. Personally, I haven't done much with the current version of iTunes, mostly just managing my IOS devices and playing with the Podcasts area. And I have to say the Podcast area is less than intuitive. But then, I find that anytime an application enables a Web View it gets more difficult to navigate, and usually more so than on my Windows machine. .
