Hi,

The Dictate is located in the lower right of the keyboard, below the Return key.

Re: Editing a pdf document with Adobe Acrobat

2018-10-27 Thread 'Tim Kilburn' via MacVisionaries
Hi,

Yes, I've used PDFPen Pro, but only on the Mac. My last communication with the
developer said that the iOS version was not as accessible as the MacOS version.
That was close to a year ago, but I haven't heard anything different yet. If
the labels are not entered properly, you'll probably have similar problems in
PDFPen Pro or any other accessible PDF reader.

Have you used pdf pen? Do you know if it is accessible on the Mac or in iOs?
The apps seem expensive but ... if they are accessible then they may be worth
the investment.

Kind regards,

2018-10-27 Thread 'Tim Kilburn' via MacVisionaries
Hi,

The easiest way I've found to do this, is to navigate to the volume or folder
you wish to search within, then interact with the Toolbar, move over to the
Search field and enter your search terms. Stop interacting with the Toolbar,
then VO-right and press on the radio button that says something about the
current folder you're in. You can then navigate to the Scroll area to find the
results.

Hi Pete,
Yes, I know where the dictate button should be. And fortunately the magic tap

usually have to flick to it. I just find it. But I tried flicking, and went

Re: missing tones on my new phone and my old phone

2018-10-27 Thread Pete De Vasto
Oh good, glad you found the culprit. Geez, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve
had little things like that happen to me, and you’re so right, how stupid you
feel when you forgot? Now, as for the keyboard, if it’s the standard on-screen
keyboard, Go down to the bottom right corner and move up till you here return.
Swipe left, you should hear space, then dictate. Also, I believe double-tapping
anywhere on the keyboard should throw you into dictate mode, then a second
double-tap transfers to the edit field.

Re: missing tones on my new phone and my old phone

2018-10-27 Thread Mary Otten
well, that was really stupid. I have been into sounds, as you suspected Peed.
However, I hadn’t checked the little side button which had gotten turned on to
mute. It’s amazing what happens when you unmute the phone. And strangely, it
happened on both phones. I’ve had that iPhone 7 Plus for two years, and never
once did anything with the mute button. Makes me almost wonder if the guys at
the store accidentally did it when they were messing around with cases in Sims
etc. Now if I can just find the dictate button on this keyboard, that would be
great.

Hourly chime on iPhone XR

2018-10-27 Thread Angus MacKinnon
I will save my 6 Hour Tech Gremlin at the Apple Store story. I have a brand new
Black iPhone that I enjoyed setting up and customizing. I was wondering if it
is possible to have the iPhone XR chime on the hour? Or do I need to export my
Westminster Chimes App to the iPhone XR? Thank you.

iPHone not showing recents anymore

2018-10-27 Thread Raymond Foret Jr
Okay,

Lately, my iPhone is not showing me anything in recents tab anymore.
I’ve turned off hand off and allow calls on other devices but still can’t see
recents list. I’ve restarted the phone also. Meaning soft reset also.

Any ideas?

Re: Editing a pdf document with Adobe Acrobat

2018-10-27 Thread Kirsten hill
Thanks Tim... Unfortunately the fields in the document were not labelled so
preview was not useful. I will go back to the creator with this information.

Have you used pdf pen? Do you know if it is accessible on the Mac or in iOs?
The apps seem expensive but ... if they are accessible then they may be worth
the investment.

Kind regards,
