For beginners like me, I strongly recommend commanders tutorial by John

Subject: Chop comic demo

Hi mac users,

I just wanted to share with you a little fun demo app on MAC OS I did, which is
basically a comic shop you can walk around in 3D, listen to comics say stupid
jokes and get the crowd to clap, laugh etc.

It's quite immersive on a surround sound system, but works on headphones too.
It's HRTF audio, stands for head related transfer functions. It's the basis of
binaural audio.

Here is the dropbox link, please follow the instructions carefully to make it
work.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/egr594wq1yovxe1/chopComic.zip?dl=0

I apologise for the non friendly way of starting it, but if you have any
issues, get in touch and I'll help you get it up and running :)

I think this could be a funny crowd generator, where all of us can record our
voices laughing, jeering, cheering etc, and keep adding to it.

I'm not intend on making this commercial, but an open source project with more
types of actions in the 3D audio space as we go along.

Have a great weekend y'all :)

RE: using keyboard in mac virtual machine.

2019-09-12 Thread Simon A Fogarty
Ok there is one of your issues,

If you don't have the OS installed to the vm environment then you probably
aren't being giving the option to get into the vm window.

Voiceover with vm fusion will speak the suggestion of which keys to use to
get into the vm window when your actual vm starts up.

Chop comic demo

2019-09-12 Thread Yuma Decaux

They use g suite for most of their work,

Just trying to get a handle on it.

Hi,

On the Mac, I use it daily. Different aspects are more accessible than others.
I usually use a combination of Safari and Chrome and a combination of VO and
ChromeVox. You can also use G Suite apps and services in iOS and the soon to
be iPadOS. Again, some things are easier in one platform vs the other. For
example, some Google expandable menus work better in Chrome with CV, yet VO is
faster and handles some other aspects of the browser experience better. Sorry
for being somewhat vague.

Angus,
Is Firefox now accessible? Last time I tried it, it was not. If
Mozilla has made it accessible, they are the ones who need your feedback
so they can fix it.

Re: G Suite usability

2019-09-12 Thread 'Tim Kilburn' via MacVisionaries

Hi,

That would need to be addressed with the Firefox developers. It is not a MacOS

If you have voiceover running,
Then it should speak the correct command to you as well, vo is really good like
that.

Ok, yeah just checked my workstation notes,
That ctrl g is for windows to vm workstation.

Check under the vm fusion menus for the full screen shortcut key, it's
possibly command option enter,

But here is a key press to go in to focus of the vm. I can't remember what it
is at the moment.

So please test it replicate it report it. If we don't take action, we will see

Sorry Anders,
Not sure why I gave inches instead of centimetres as I usually do everything in
metric. I’ll put it down to the fact that I started going to school here in NZ
right in the middle of the change over from Imperial to metric, and that was
from 1966-1975.
Hope you managed to get a good photo in the end?

I’m guessing you know how to attach the photo to the email?
I actually find texting photos is much easier as you can take the photo within
