Maria,
That command is not model specific so it should work. Take a look in
the Assign command list and ensure that dots 1 and 7 will emulate the

That is correct. It is in navigation.

You don’t want to permanently disable java script. You would only disable it
in situations where you are having problems. It’s a band-aid rather than a
fix. It also doesn’t always work. But it is something to try in certain
situations. Some times temporarily disabling styles works as well

What you want to do is create a calendar and then "share" it with her. When
you are in the list of calendars on calendar.google.com there is a option
button after each calendar and in there are sharing options.

You can stop the loading announcement on the Amazon page just by restarting

Also, having vo set to constantly move the mouse around will usually slow
things down to some degree. There is no benefit in having it set that way for

Re: Catalina

2019-12-14 Thread Anders Holmberg
Hi!
There is at least one new setting under the braille settings tab.
If you uncheck it it just shows one object at a time on the display.
Its like the structured mode in Jaws.
I have been waiting for this setting.
Though there are some glitches still with braille i think.

Re: Siri and Calendar: how to turn off automatic Emailing of invitations

2019-12-14 Thread Jürgen Fleger
This is what I do as well. But does anyone know why on earth Calendar does this
without assking back the user? To me this is an extremely annoyying behavior
using Siri.
A person told me it should be polite to do so in the US and very impolite don’t
to send invitations for events. Can you confirm this? I once ran in a very
embarrassing situation because of this.
Thanks and all the best
Jürgen

Yes, I’ve also noticed Safari being sluggish when there is an activity. To stop

Re: Getting Stuck in Customer Reviews: Amazon.com

2019-12-14 Thread Greg Wocher
Hello,
To enable the developer menu you need to open up safari preferences. Once here
go to the advanced settings then you should find a checkbox to enable the
developer menu.

I use amazon.com (and this happens with m.amazon.com, also) to shop for
stuff. I do a search for an item, find a list of suggestions.
 I click on a suggestion.
I tab or use single-letter nav to jump to headings to try and find a
 description of the item.
Invariably I get sucked into a page or sub-page or window where all I can
get are the rating percentages and a close button.
I click on the close button and the same darn stuff pops up again.

I get dragged into this swamp even if I try to navigate with VO+right/left

Help, I’m stuck and can’t get out.

Hello,
I set up an activity to do this. However it really slows down safari when I go

Siri and Calendar: how to turn off automatic Emailing of invitations

2019-12-14 Thread Paul Hopewell
Hello,
I am running IOS 13.3 on my iPhone 8. I find using the on screen keyboard slow
and inaccurate and so use Siri instead.
I recently said to Siri “schedule lunch with Bob”.Siri then asked me for the
date and time which I provided. Siri then asked me which of the 2 Bobs in my
address book I meant. I thus chose the right Bob. This was all excellent
except that unknown to me Siri sent an invite Email to that Bob which rather
mystified him.
Is there any way to turn off this automatic sending of these invitation?
Many thanks…
Paul Hopewell

Hi lenron,
When you factor several "Pro tools HDX" cards and a video card you'll start to
see that the Mac Pro is a natural fit.
I already have that mac mini which requires you to buy a external "thunderbolt"
card cage to house all the Avid Cards & is a bit slower!
Besides with the way the USA economy is doing it will pay for its self down
stream! :)
Also since the Mac pro is made in the US it will just ad fuel to the Jobs
market!

Could you not use the google calendar app on your iPhone and then set the
