I couldn’t find it in VoiceOver Utility; it’s probably worth reporting to Apple.

Re: Zoom

2021-07-31 Thread Brad Snyder
I use Zoom on my Mac all the time, and never experience problems like you
describe.
Try the following, and see if it helps:
1. Always use a headset with external microphone. Open Zoom Preferences >
Audio, and make sure the headset is selected as your output and input sources.
2. Turn TrackPad Commander off, and use keyboard navigation only.
3. Make sure your copy of Zoom is updated to the latest version.

Re: Zoom

2021-07-31 Thread 'Devin Prater' via MacVisionaries
I’ve seen this sometimes. Try a different audio source, like a different pair
of headphones or something, or the built-in speakers. I’ve only seen this when
trying to do something on the Mac when on a FaceTime call, but that wasn’t the
call audio that went away, but VoiceOver’s audio that would just fade away.

Voiceover doesn't seem to track Braille display in Big Sur

2021-07-31 Thread 'Andrew Lamanche' via MacVisionaries
Hi,

I have noticed that in Big Sur whenever I read text, let’s say in an email
body, using my Braille display, voiceover cursor doesn’t follow my Braille
display. This is annoying since if I want to switch to using speech, I find
Voiceover starts reading from the beginning of the text where I started using
the Braille display. Is there a way of tethering voiceover to Braille display
movements as it was before?

Andrew
