Re: Accessible Audio Player for Mac other than Cog?
Hi. If you are talking about DSD images or tracks you can try Audiorvana. Vlc is not a bad idea for playing stereo, but is really a painful thing to play multi-channel audiotracks in videos on Mac. iTunes is good enough, but you are not able to switch your audio devices on the fly. Also you can use Decibel, I personally prefer Audiorvana. AZ 18.05.2015 14:21, Anders Holmberg wrote: Hi! Never heard of Cog but vlc is really great. I know, the same feature exists in Voice Over search, "VO+f", but once i press this combination i cann't switch between languages to choose an other one. VoiceOver says that this combination is not supported here, once i switch the needed language before this combination i cann't call search feature because combinations in Mac OS X work only in english layout. Maybe someone has an advice? Thanks AZ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group. Re: Deleted email messages coming back in Windows?
Hi/ If you are talking about Gmail, so you have to check to delete messages on the web-interface too (pop3). And there are many problems with Gmail by using imap, messages come back. So use pop3 and check on the web-interface to delete your post. AZ 23.12.2010 21:57, Brianna Snyder writes: Hi, I've tried all the settings I can think of, and the suggestion of other people. I hardly ever use my windows machine now, and I don't like having to erase tons of email every time I want to check it from that computer. Re: Using a Macbook/MacBook Pro as Primary Computer?
Hi. I have my MacBook only two weeks, but i've found it very useful for my working, and i don't know, if it is possible to read the battery state spoken by VoiceOver? How do you know, when to charge? Thanks for all the opinions and suggestions. It all helps. Brianna On Dec 23, 2010, at 11:55 AM, Scott Ford wrote: Hi Brianna, Great questions! I use my MBP exclusively. On the 26th I will have used it for two years. About a month ago my power supply quit working. This was caused by this little plastic clip that is on the computer charging side of the cord. While in my computer bag the plastic part cut into the cord then breaking the insulation, finally causing a short and the power supply. I had heat shrunk the cable before the supply quit working, however it does not appear to have helped. In any case I brought the power supply and MBP in to make sure that the battery was not the problem. The tech ran their diagnostics on the system. In the 18 months I charged the system around 300 times and the the batter checked out fine. Additionally the tech told me that my battery is expected to be charged and discharged 5000 times. Finally he told me that I could glean this information some where in the system and their diagnostics is just faster and provides additional information. I have cut the plastic part off of my new power supply. An interesting note also is that the old power supply had an end that came straight out of the computer and was white plastic just like the old Macbooks. My new power supply has an end on it that is round with a brushed aluminum and clips on in a 90 degree angle I really like my MBP, however I am finding that the hardware is no different than pc hardware. This morning I discovered that the left hinge is failing and the display is rubbing on the body. This is the second time that something like this has occurred. I recommend that you purchase the applecare if you have not already done so. merry Christmas.
