Wo there! There is no! such thing as a stupid question!

Complications are basically little widgets, if you will, that you can
place on your clockface. So, for example. On my watch's clockface, I use
a face called Modular. So, in the top left complication, I have it set to
tell me no upcoming events, or whatever the next event may be. In the top
right corner, I have my battery. Bottom left is my activity, like if I've
reached my health goal for the day, etc. The bottom middle complication
is a record button for me to launch a very! useful app called Just Press
Record. And finally, my bottom right corner complication is the current
 temperature.

So, in other words, complications are basically little pieces of info,
kind of like a widget, for lack of better word, that you can put on your
main watch screen. When on your main clock face,

 1. 3D touch and push your screen. You'll feel a little vibration, and
hear a little bweep sound. Now you are where you can flick with one
finger left and right to select the watch face you wish to use. Double
tap on the one you want. Note that after double tapping on a face, you'll
be taken back to the main clock face screen.

 3. After flicking to the watch face you wish to customize the
complications on, flick down with one finger. Voiceover will say
 Customize. Then, double tap.

 4. You're now in the customization screen. Flicking left and right will
move you between complication locations on the currently active face that
you're customizing. Once on a particular complication location of your
choice by flicking left or right with one finger, then, you have two
 choices.

 5. You now can either flick up or down with one finger to select which
complication you want in that slot, or to turn off that complication area
altogether. The other option instead of now flicking up or down with one
finger is to roll your digital crown either toward you, or away from you.
Once you have the complication you want selected, either flick left or
right to another location, or, if you're all done, just press the digital
crown straight in. There's no need to double tap after you select the
complication you want at a particular location.

 Hopefully, this helps.

Re: Strange problem when updating iPod

2016-03-26 Thread Basioli George
ok,

keeping hyour i pod connectted to itunes;

go to file, devices, and transfer purchessed apps to iTunes
after this is finished on your iPod do a backup to iCloud useing your iPod in
settings, iCloud and down at the bottom look to see that backup is turned on
then exit out of settings to the home screen and keep the iPod plugged into the
computer and lock the iPod
wait about tem minutes to be sure and then unlock the iPod, and go to settings,
iCloud, and see when the last backup was it should have a date and time of
today.

now if all this is complete from iTunes you will do the following

make sure your iTouch is selectted, and then tab to the scroll pain and inter
act and tab down to backup to this device and put a check in the box
now move to increptted backup and put a check in this box
now make a password for the increptted backup.
now move to backup or sync i can not remember which it is at the moment and vo
spacebar to start the backup.

when it is finished backing up all your info we can move on from there.

you want to incrept because this way you will save all your settings and
fpasswords and etc in the backup.

when this is finished you can do a restore of the device and when it is
restored with the latest i o s then you can if needed restore from the backup
you just fmade to the computer

Re: Starbucks Order And Pay

2016-03-25 Thread Basioli George
ok my error eariler sory the reset put’s the choices you made back to defalt

i picked the americon again and grondy and then the next screen doubbled tap
on the 3 shots which is rite after the discription of the drink
now you should be taken to the next page and flick right with one finger and
you will hear 3 shots after a couple of flicks, and then keep flicking to the
right and you will hear something minous and flick again and you hear something
plus. sory i can not remember exactually the word before minous and plus and
doubble tap on the plus once and if you flick left you will hear 4 shots.
now you have that comfermed start flicking to the right again and go past reset
to you hear save and doubble tap.
now your taken back to the original screen where you got the discription of the
drink and if you flick right you will now see it is 4 shots.
now flick down to you hear save and double tap.
now you can place the order or i think also save to your favorits

Re: Starbucks Order And Pay

2016-03-25 Thread Basioli George
ok i just did this on a 6 s+,

opened the app
doubbled tapped on order
flicked to i found grando americona and dubbled taped
on the next screen you need to doubble tap on 1 grand americona
now in the next page you will have a discription of the drink, then a place to
doubble tap to add more water and then another place to add shots and then
another place to add extras like sourps, etc. then move on from there by
doubble tapping on reset recipe.

i have noticed and have talked to the main office since i live just outside
seattle and let them know non of their links, buttons are not labeled as such.
for example the reset recipe should say reset recipe / button or link or what
ever it is.

i even tried now before sending this to you by turning on the hints, and there
is not even any hint for the example reset recipe.

Re: Tips installing OS X 10.11.4?

2016-03-22 Thread Basioli George
just from your desktop do the following
v o m to open the menu bar
arrow down the apple menu to app store
v o spacebar to open it
interact with the toolbar and arrow right to downloads and v o spacebar
stop interactting with tool bar and v o right arrow to thehtml field and
interact and v o right arrow through the info and it will be there
do the o s x update first and when it is all finished then go through the same
stteps and update iTunes.

when you choose to update the o s x, it will do it all on it’s own and restarte
your device twice and the second time it will be the log in screen, and v o
will speak.

Re: Numbers Questions

2016-03-19 Thread Basioli George
well for your first answer;
there are keyboard commands to move from sheet to sheet
command [ moves left one sheet
command ] moves right one sheet
and if you add option so it is command option and [ or ] will take you to the
first sheet of the group or the last sheet of the group.

there is also a rename sheet in the menu bar i am not sure what menu it is
under at this time and i think therre is no keyboard command for this.

also, the sheet navigation is also in the menu bar and i am not sure what title
it is under at this time eather

sory i am not at a place to bring up numbers to give you the exact info

Re: Walking directions in the United States

2016-02-29 Thread Basioli George
ben,

since you have both blind square and navigon use them together
start blind square and make your trip with useing your current location as the
start, and your appointment place as the distination.
then when you tell b s the next move it will ask you what app it will see on
your device and choose navigon
now navigon will open and it will do it’s thing and when you walk you will get
the turns from navigon and you will get all the intersection info and all the b
s info at the same time.
this is why i have different voices for my divice and blind square so when on
the road you can tell which is telling you what.

Re: Adding or Moving Contacts Between Groups in iOS

2016-02-25 Thread Basioli George
go into your main contacts and highlite / select the ones you wish to put in a
group and copy with command c
now go and select the group name in the group list so it is highlitted
now do a command v and past the selections you copied from the main contacts.
this will put the copy of those copied into the group you have selectted and
leave the original in the fffmain contacts.

you have to have a name in the main contacts inable to put it in a group
if you start by creatting a new contact within the group when it is intered it
will also put the contact in the main contacts.

so, it backups with time machine and any thing you have installed to the fusion

v o right errow to the defalt voice pup up menu and it will read alix since
this is your defalt set voice
v o spacebar on this and arrow down to a new voice and do v o spacebar and the
defalt voice will change and it will speak in the new choice

Re: Uber Questions

2016-02-06 Thread Basioli George
frist of all

you need to go into settings and set up your account
you have to give a creditcard to pay
you need to let uber access your location this is why your friend saw 5 cars
next you can choose current location that way as a pick up
you can do the address if you know what it is
now when you select get a ride or what ever it is called, the cool thing is
when a driver answers you will get a discription of the drriver i.e. make of
car, color, andlicense number. now i know not to effictive for blind, but
there is now a button to contact driver and you can call or text and tell the
driver your visually inpared and discribe yourself and they need to look for
you.

just so you know it does not put your apps back on the device. it sees howmany
you have backed up and their names and when your all backed up then your device
redownloads the apps to the device. i have over 800 and it takes several hours
sometimes.
