Re: speaking rate for vo on a Mac

Hi i believe you have to add the shift key to the VO and command keys to make 
it work properly,  it threw,  me at first.

we are 21 or 70 degrees today but there are still watch and act fires still 
burning with some roads closed off but,  later in the week,  the heat will be 
back.  its the remote towns that are suffering through limited access.  and i

Hi well having opened it if you VO to background image VO space on that and 
after using vo right arrow about 3 to 4 times it should say scan then it tells 
you what you might or might not hav or congratulations you are clean.  I must 
admit its a pain and it is in menu extras as frontend agent and you get nothing 
from that so your better off opening it from the applications folder.  I found 
it by accident so hope that helps i’ll get the dev on to it and see what 
happens.

Hi all i’ve found that right option m pressed twice gets mail going or when you 
have mail has no windows use command zero and that opens the message viewer 
window.  hope this solves a problem as a work around.

another way to put alias’s to the desktop is to use shortcut command control a 
so by going to whatever folder you want! just use that shortcut,  one of the 
many way to do things on the mac.

hi petrus in the general tab of the finder when using command and comma you’ll 
hear show these items on the desk top and one of them is external disks as a 
check box along with connected servers and hard disks,  check the external 
disks and you should be able to hear the name of whatever you connected.

crossfading songs on the mac

Hi mark and all i recently updated to the latest version of Skype for mac,  and 
when i try to type a chat message i hear type a message here constantly 
repeated and have to concentrate hard on getting text right when hearing type a 
message here every few seconds. i’m using mac OS Mojave I’m interested if

Hi robert  i reported this to apple the other day because by chance,  i did 
right option t and i was given a message to allow SCROD as a system event and 
when i did this time and date worked as it did before..  It must be Mojave i 
believe you can find the path to it in cor services in system library.

I’ve tried to put in feedback about the start up chime however i suggested that 
it should be in system preferences so you could toggle it on and off for those 
who have MacBook pro with touch bar, hopefully they might listen so people 
don’t turn off apple products. that feature is good if sometimes you may have 
to set the p ram instead of having to count 20 seconds or so. Thanks

mac getting hot when accessing a website

Hi everyone.  recently,  I went on to the SABC south african broadcasting 
corporation and listened to a group of radio stations 5 FM and FM 2000 ,  the 
macbookpro got quite hot so i’m wondering if i shouldn’t get on the SABC 
website at all if this is going to happen? if they are using an old version of 
flash? anyway just curious and some thoughts,, Thanks everybody All the best.

Hi i believe you have to press fn control option and use the application 
chooser or window chooser like that when in that mode because just VO f 2 f 2 
won’t work on its own.
