Re: Accessible piano apps for iPhone

2010-08-03 Thread Scott Howell
Thank you sir and I had forgotten I sent you the note. :) I might just have to
purchase this since the developer is obviously interested in making it
accessible.

Thanks,

Re: Accessible piano apps for iPhone

2010-08-03 Thread Ben Mustill-Rose
Hey scott, I must have missed your email.

Morphwiz is accessible in a sense - I don't think all the features are
accessible, but its useable to the point where its worth the purchase
plus as I said, the developer is working with a friend to make it vo
friendly although I don't have a time scale as to when this will be
completed.
If you have the device in landscape, there are 2 buttons on the bottom
left of the screen - the left most one goes back an instrument where
as the one on the right moves forward.

It's more of a toy at the moment since in most cases you don't get
access to all the notes in a conventional scale, but once it's made
accessible you should be able to change this.
I'm glad I bought it though - it's just a bit of fun plus jordan
rudess is amazing.

Re: Accessible piano apps for iPhone

Benn,

How accessible is this currently and how soon does he plan on making it fully
accessible? I'm really curious about this and I just might drop the $10. I'm a
bassist and probably more a hack then a real musician, :), but this sounds like
something I could use for entertainment and actually working on some ideas I
have floating around in my brain. Any other bits about the app you like to
share, please feel free here or directly to me at scottn3...@gmail.com.

Most, infact all of these instrument apps require vo to be off, unless

Wow thumbjam sounds amazing! I have to try this one out. Plus there's
an app called cosmobox or something like that. its a synthesizer that
you can adjust tempo and the scale for. I've read that's accessible
but thumbjam looks more like what i was looking for.
