Does grade two input work with Lion? My download of Lion is proving a little
difficult yet.

Hi,

I don't know about the iPad, but it works fine on the iPhone, and not at all

as their words. Forexample, the word mail comes up as moreailike.

Very strange!

2011-07-22 Thread Red.Falcon
Hi there!
My braille is a little rusty!
So does this mean you've got to put dots 5 and 6 before each letter to tell the
Mac that the following item is a letter and not a word!
That's of course if I remembered that right!

Re: Inputting with grade two braille on the Mac.

2011-07-17 Thread erik burggraaf
I think it's not likely since the what's new made no mention of it, but that
doesn't stop me from hoping.

Best,

 Hi All.

I connected my Essys to my Mac this afternoon via Bluetooth and was
disappointed to see that we can only input in grade one braille although the
braille display will show grade two. As those of you know if we connect
braille devices to the I phone we can input into grade two braille. I really
hope that we will be able to do a lot more when Lion is released. I hope
there are some beta testers who are giving braille feedback to the Apple
developers. I'm thinking of becoming a beta tester next year for this
purpose. What do people think would they like to input using grade two
 braille?
