If you join and login the movie valt is one of the links on the home page
after you login. You can no longer get there without loging in to the mall.

I don't understand why this isn't working for people. Maybe you have to
sign up for the vault, but you should be able to get to the home page
without gooling by going to:

http://www.blindmicemegamall.com
That's what I did originally when I received the new link from Blind Mice
Mart.

The Blind Mice Movie Vault contains many, many audio-described
movies and television shows in mp3 format. I would like to get
them

onto my iPhone.

However, for some reason, when I download them, they are not
being put in my iTunes library.

Yes, a google search for blind mice mega mall took me to the page. After
signing up, the movie vault showed up as an option.

you're right. Movie is not a choice for an audio file. I put mine in the books

Re: Now that blindmicemart (blindmicemegamall) is back . . .

2011-11-06 Thread Greg Aikens
Hi Christene,
Once you have opened the edit info dialogue, you want to get to the options
tab. There is a list of several tabs at the top of the window. Once on the
options tab there is a pop up box labelled "Media kind". If you want your
files to show up somewhere else, this is where you would change it.
Unfortunately, saving it as a movie is not an option for mp3's. I have mine
under music and list the artist for each as Blind Mice Mart. That way they are
all together.

Also, could you provide the link you are using to download stuff? As others
noted, the link is no longer on the home page. Also, the links I got searching
through google appear to bring up a blank page in safari and webkit.

Thanks,

Greg

television shows in mp3 format. I would like to get them onto my iPhone.
However, for some reason, when I download them, they are not being put in

2011-11-06 Thread Christine Grassman
Kristyn, I did as directed, but not sure exactly what I'm editing. If, for
example, I want it to show up in movies/videos, I would have to edit the path
where it states it's in music and the music library, correct? But when I
interact with this text, I can't change it. I did try writing in the title of
the movie as the album name, which then made it appear on the album list of the
music library. It 's checked, but it isn't syncing.
Can anyone guide me further with this, off-list if necessary?

The Blind Mice Movie Vault contains many, many audio-described movies and
television shows in mp3 format. I would like to get them onto my iPhone.
However, for some reason, when I download them, they are not being put in
 my
iTunes library. Is there a way to do tis one case at a time, or aother way
to get them onto my iPhone without resorting to the iTunes library? Should
 I
just "drag and drop" into the library, or is there some easier method? TIA.
 Christine

Search for it in your iTunes music library. When you find it, press command+I
and edit the information to make it appear where you want it .

Tried that -- plays fine in iTunes, but isn't appearing in either the music
library or movies. When I use Spotlight to find it, it says it is an mp3 and
"unknown album". I don't see any options to save it in the iTunes library, just
the usual controls "previous," "next," "stop," etc.
